MASTERLIST

It’s cold outside. A biting, ugly cold that gnaws at the tips of your ears and your icy fingers, crawls under the damp wool of your coat and lets you shift from side to side until the door opens with a high-pitched creak, so you can step inside.

The storm raging through the city drowns your best friend’s greeting words in rain and thunder, so she merely steps aside to let you into the hallway. Though you already have your next words prepared in the back of your mind, a proper apology for the water that steadily drips on the floor and causes small puddles to grow under the squeaking soles of your shoes with each passing moment, Momo doesn't even give you the chance to open your mouth.

“You really shouldn’t have come in weather like this, it’s dangerous out there... And now you’re drenched to the bone!” She exclaims with her delicate hand wrapped tightly around your wrist, quickly shutting the door behind your shiver shoulders before guiding you into her room. It’s warm in here, so warm and comfortable that you almost forget the numbness which seems to take over your limbs as you kick off your shoes and struggle to open the buttons of your coat.

“Here, let me help you.” Momo offers you a sweet smile and lightly smacks your trembling hands to the side to open your jacket for you. Pulling it off your shoulders, she quickly discards the soaked piece of clothing in one of the laundry baskets sitting in the corner of her room, right next to her closet, and moves to wrap a fluffy towel around your shuddering figure. “That’s better, isn’t it? I really hope you don’t catch a cold.”

She’s so close, you can smell the shampoo she used this morning lingering in the long strands of her raven hair — a hint of fresh apple mixed with a note of rose that comes from the perfume she uses. Her lovely scent has been stuck with you since the first day of school when you took your assigned seat right next to her in the back of your class. And even after all this time of knowing her, of being her closest friend and slowly falling in love with her, she still has this effect on you — her presence alone makes your heart lurch in your throat.

“Oh no, your lips already turned blue!” Momo wearily rubs your arms, brows furrowed in concentration and worry. “I’m going to make us some tea and in the meantime, you can change out of your clothes and grab some of mine, yes? Just put everything in the laundry basket, I’ll wash them for you later.”

With those words, Momo rushes off. Carefully, you look around and approach her desk with hesitant steps. It’s tidy, neatly-written notes stacked on top of a few school books next to a jar of pens. A sweater is lazily thrown over her chair. Her favorite turtleneck, if you remember correctly.

Your fingertips glide over the collar of her sweater, caressing the soft material, and before you can fully register your own actions, you’ve already slipped out of her wet shirt and bury your face in her turtleneck. It smells faintly like her perfume and you can’t help but smile at the fond memory of her wearing it the other day.

After a few minutes, your pants land in the basket, together with your wet shirt and your socks. You’ve put on a pair of sweatpants you found between her clothes, almost clamping your fingers when you accidentally discovered her bras and closed it too quickly.

“Y/N, darling? Can I come in?” The knock on the door startles you for a moment, but the sound of her voice relaxes you in an instant. You hum in approval as a reply and widen your eyes when Momo enters the room balancing a tray with tea and all sorts of baked goods in her hands, visibly troubled with the heaviness of it. “Oh, you’re wearing my favorite sweater!”

“Yeah, it’s very comfy and it smells like you,” you mutter with a crooked grin as you plop down next to her, the mattress dipping under the weight of your body. The heat of the teacup she cautiously places in your hands warms your fingers and the sweet smell of chamomile and vanilla wafting around the two of you lulls you in a sense of security. Yet, the warmth isn’t enough. With a tired sigh, you place the fine porcelain down on the tray and rub your knuckles, desperately trying to get the blood flowing. “My fingers are still cold as ice, shit.”

“Give me your hands, okay? I’m going to warm the for you.” Momo turns to you and cups your hands with her own, gently blowing on the tips of your freezing fingers and caressing the inside of your wrist with her thumb. It’s a loving gesture, one of her little habits that make butterflies explode in the pit of your stomach and your head feel as light as a cloud. Oh, and when Momo decides to slide even closer to you, shoulder brushing against her chest in the process of her movements, you simply forget how to breathe properly. “If you want, I can create gloves for you?”

You don’t hear her question. Not really. Too caught up in your own mind, you just lean forward and press your lips against hers. It’s stupid and reckless, definitely not the smartest decision you have made in your life so far, but it’s the only thought your body is willing to comply with.

For a terrifying second, you both just stay there, frozen in place until she lifts her arm to graze your cheek and pulls you into her lap. The kiss is languid and sensual, the taste of her vivid on the tip of your tongue, and when you both break apart after what feels like an eternity, you just share a smile before you fall back into her soft pillows with quiet laughter and the sound of your lips meeting for the second time.

You stood off to the side of the room with your friends while you watched two of your peers spar together. Shouta was 'randomly' picking two classmates to spar together, and you were all supposed to watch their fights and learn from them while you waited to spar on your own. You were sure Shouta had actually thought about the pairs strategically like when he lied about expelling a student at the beginning of the semester. 

You were supposed to be watching the fight but your eyes had other ideas. They kept wandering off to the other side of the room where Deku sat with his friends. Momo Yaoyorozu, in all her beautiful glory, stood there stretching out her arms. Everything about her was perfect. Her hair was so amazing, it was so shiny and lustrous, and her pretty brown eyes were so incomparable to anything. You weren't sure when you began staring at her, but she hadn't noticed and you made no plans to stop. 

"[Y/N], you've been staring at her for the past five minutes. Aizawa's gonna get mad and pair you up with someone like Todoroki."

Mina nudged your shoulder and a cherry red color spread up from your neck and across your cheeks. Had you really been staring that long? Your crush on Momo was beginning to spin out of control. You wanted her so bad, but you knew she would probably go for someone rich and beautiful like her. Psychologically we seek out people like ourselves. 

"I'd like him to pair us up together, I could finally show Momo how superior I am to him, but I already sparred Sero when you were in the bathroom."

"I'm only gonna tell you this one more time, Momo is not interested in Todoroki, even if she was, he's so... Serious? Oblivious to stuff like that. Picking fights with him is only going to confuse him and hurt you."

You crossed your arms as you looked back over at Momo, your chest bubbled at her but swelled as Todoroki came into view. They were standing so close together. There was no way they weren't together, they always studied together, they went out together, constantly chatting each other down, and Todoroki was a dry conversationalist. Mina bumped you again and you looked back at the fight. 

"Quit staring."

"I can't help it, she's just so hot."

"Then ask her out, like a normal person."

You huffed at Mina's words. There was no way she would want to go out with you. She was simply perfect, rich, beautiful, stunning, and smart. You were poor, dumb, and embarrassing. All you had going for you was your quirk. 

"No! She's too perfect, and she's probably not even into girls. Look at her and Todoroki, they're probably together anyway, I'll just admire her from afar."

"If I hear you gush over ponytail one more fucking time I will blast your ass." 

Your cheeks burned at Katsuki's outburst. He had yelled his words out and you were sure everyone had heard. Multiple students were looking at you. You looked at your feet as you thought out ways to murder Katsuki in his sleep. Ponytail could mean a multiple amount of people, they shouldn't necessarily think of Momo. 

"Bakubro, that's not manly! Outing [Y/N]'s crush on M-"

Mina was quick to hit Eijirou with her elbow who then shut up and looked over at your ever-growing crimson face as he realized his own slip-up.

"Sorry, [Y/N]."

"Maybe she should apologize for being a pussy. Put a pair of balls on and fucking confess."

"Yaoyorozu vs. Bakugo."

Katsuki walked away with a smirk on his face. You hated yourself for riling Katsuki up. He was going to hurt her. He was going to kill her. He was going to absolutely abolish her. It wasn't that you had a lack of faith in Momo, you knew how Katsuki could go so overkill when he was angry. You watched in worry as Katsuki and Momo sparred with their quirks. Blast after blast followed by creation after creation and soon Katsuki had Momo on the ground. Your stomach churned at the sight, but deeper worry flooded you as Katsuki and Momo exchanged words. Momo looked over at you with a bloody face and smiled. 

What did Katsuki say?

"[L/N] can take Yaoyorozu to the infirmary, she already had her spar anyway."

You were going to kill Katsuki.

"Fine. [L/N] take Yaoyorozu to recovery girl. Next time Bakugo, don't go so overkill."   

You were officially going to kill Katsuki.

You walked over to Momo and wiped your hands off on your pants before helping her up off of the ground. You hoped to god that she couldn't sense the nervousness completely secreting from you. You helped Momo walk out of the classroom and down the hall towards Recovery Girl's office when Momo pulled herself away from your grip. She walked with one hand on her arm, she was nervous not hurt but it wasn't obvious to you. In your mind, she was too perfect to be nervous around someone like you. 

"I think I can walk on my own. Bakugo didn't hurt me that much, he mostly just caught me off guard."

"Sorry, of course, you can walk on your own! You're such a great fighter, you're amazing, Katsuki likes to play dirty like that."

"Bakugo told me you thought that."  

You stopped walking for a moment caught off guard as your cheeks started to turn red, a deep blush spreading across your face. 

"He said what?"

"He said you thought I was amazing and pretty, and hot."

"I'm going to kill him. I am going to kill him." 

Momo reached over and slipped her hand into yours lightly. Your thoughts on Katsuki paused momentarily as you looked over at your crush to see her smiling at you. 

"He told me you thought I was dating Shouto. I'm not. I'm not into guys like that."

"Oh, you mean you're more into girls like that?"

"I'm not into girls or boys. I don't really decide if I like someone until I really know them. I like you. All I want is you."

The blush on your cheeks only deepened from a cherry red to a deep scarlet red. Your chest swelled with a feeling, a feeling of nerves, and hopes. Mina was right, you just had to shoot your shot. You needed to shoot your shot. You smiled back at Momo as you let go of her hand. You cupped her cheeks, boy did the skin feel as soft as you had imagined it being.

"Then have me!"

It came out more direct than you had meant to say it, worry and anxiety flooded your chest making you take a deep breath but it was all for naught. Momo cupped your own cheeks and hoped that there were no teachers in the halls. As class 1-A's vice president she had the honor to uphold, but at that moment it didn't matter. As she pressed her lips against yours it didn't matter. as her soft lips touched yours it didn't matter.

You stood on your tiptoes to make it easier on her. Her lips were so soft, they were softer than you ever imagined they would. They tasted better than you imagined they would, like imperial gold tea, but it didn't matter. What you wanted was finally within your grasp, it was here in your hands. 

"Go out with me on Friday."

All you could do was meekly nod your head up and down before you turned your body around to keep walking to Recovery Girl's office, the taste of her lips on yours and your hands intertwined.

First of all, Russian men are extremely family men, so if Momo goes out with one of them, she must keep in mind that he is already looking forward to the relationship, he will see her as a good prospect for his future wife, and if everything goes well he will make her his wife

she must understand that alcohol for her boyfriend is the same as tea for her, Russia is a terribly cold country and the best way to warm up is getting drunk, the positive side of this is that he has a very high resistance to alcohol, it is very hard to get him drunk

Momo is very fortunate that her partner is Russian after all, the Russian man is a very romantic person despite his tough appearance, she will always receive a special detail from him every day and especially in winter

Momo has always had a vibrant personality. She goes all in on any project she lends her time to. She glows with passion when she’s talking about nearly anything that has ever held her attention and it... It tugs all your heart strings, to hear her talk about you in that tone of voice. She’s talking on the phone with one of her fellow UA alumni, and you didn’t catch the beginning of the conversation, so you’re not sure who exactly, it is. There’s a certain level of warmth in her voice, specifically for her former UA classmates though. 

“-and then-” it takes her a moment, like she’s choked up, she’s so happy, before she can get out your name. “I think I’m in love. Not just, not just caring, because of course, I’ve always cared. But love. I feel so, so dumb. It’s difficult to get words out, I forget obvious things around-” She sighs, and you peak around the doorway. Momo’s hair is down, and her eyes are staring off into the distance, a small, fond smile curling her lips. She looks so perfect, sitting next to the window, that you feel like you’ve stepped onto some kind of movie set. 

“Momo?” You call out, unwilling to listen at the door and potentially embarrass her further. She jolts, makes a small squeaking noise, and then has to juggle her phone for a moment before she’s clutching it to her chest. 

“You’re awake! You’re- you’re here! I’m- let me say goodbye?” Her face is almost neon as she turns away, speaking soft and rapid into the phone. She’s embarrassed, but luckily, you’re sure you know how to fix that.
