Messy Fanfic Rough Draft:
I Don’t Think You’re Ready For The Meltdown:
Elsa's pink lips parted as she leaned forward. Rumi was right there, in all of her melodious glory. Singing to her. She wanted to join her, but like a wind escaping the brusque clasp of a gate, she could only conjure a shallow breath as her throat closed.
“Is it bad?” Rumi's brows were knit with worry. Her song was cut short as she turned towards her.
“What?” Elsa spewed hoarsely.
“You were kinda just sitting there, so I wasn't sure. Did you not like it?”
“No, no. You're beautiful!” A brisk silence.
“Your voice! Your voice I meant. It's gorgeous.”
“Thank you,” smiled Rumi. Elsa inched closer to her friend.
“I'm glad that you stopped, though. Now I can do this.” “What is she up to?” Rumi mused. She felt Elsa's hand vehemently clutch her forearm. It left Rumi with a slight chill. Before, she would've shuttered at her touch. But, now, the coolness of her hands was almost warm, in a welcoming sense at the least. A chaste chill bit Rumi's upper lip. “What?!”
Jerking away, Rumi was reeling. Her patterns glazed her face with luminescent hues.
Elsa slid back. “I…I'm sorry! I didn't mean to upset you.”
“It's fine. I just…need a second.”
