If you can :) no rush take your time, but I would like to request a todoroki and bakugou, and their fem crush, her quirk being water so she’s able to handle the more rough sides of them (fire) if that makes sense lol. They end up getting close over similar goals of wanting to show others they’re strong and worthy of being a hero, but she feels like her water quirk isn’t anything special, and they tell her in a sweet way/confession that she is indeed strong. Hope this is detailed enough :D !! 💕
THIS TOOK 5EVER IM SO SORRY!!
Todoroki Shouto
In the beginning, he didn’t think much of you as he had no means to use his fire side-- you weren’t someone who would get in the way unless you purposefully tried.
But after the sports festival, after he began to grow comfortable with being his entire self-- is when he noticed you.
You’re good with your quirk, and his opposite in every sense while being so similar. Quelling his fire is easy enough-- being able to guess his moves while sparring with you so easily? It’s enough to spark an interest (which he initially believed to be his competitive side).
Your will to become a hero is remarkable; his own reasoning his personal, a need to be a hero that surpasses his father in not just rank like he wants him to-- but in morals. Your own reasons are also personal to you, and when you confide in him about them-- that’s when he realizes his admiration might be something stronger.
Todoroki is not good at feelings. He doesn’t understand them. He didn’t have a good example growing up to base love and affection on, so his feelings for you scare him. He knows he finds you strong (stronger than you think), and he knows that being with you on an intimate level sounds...very nice.
But confessing that and the idea of moving towards that is startling.
It takes him a long time to build up a confidence to confess-- a confidence in fear of rejection and in fear of not being able to be a partner suited for you.
He’s your best friend and strongest supporter until your third year-- frustrated over internships and feeling like you’re still not on par with everyone else. Your anger towards your quirk and yourself bothers him-- so much to the point that he can’t help the blunt, but sweet words from tumbling from his mouth.
There’s no stopping the honest admiration of your quirk, and how strong you’ve become since he’s met you. He recalls the first time you put out his fire-- quick and simple. He calls you a master at it, and then delves into his fears. He trusts you to be the one, if he ever looses control, to calm him.
It’s a confessions that leaves the both of you flustered messes.
Bakugou Katsuki
Your relationship with Bakugou is...rocky, to put it nicely. In the beginning, he doesn’t take well to others being better than him, and someone with the ability to lessen his attacks just like that? Unheard of.
It’s only when he overhears you talking to Deku about your quirk that he limits his rudeness towards you.
It seems like you’re insecure; your quirk takes a lot out of you and there’s a big part of you that feels like you’re not strong enough. The eagerness you have towards challenging him is not to spite him-- but to build yourself up.
It’s kind of unexpected that he grows to like you, even he’s surprised by it. You want to prove yourself, while you’re still able to handle his explosions a great amount? He has to admire your dedication on some level.
He’s nicer to you than the others (the only other exception is Kirishima), which is weird and immediately other people can tell what’s up. It’s not as subtle as a regular crush, as Bakugou is a hothead who hardly lets anyone in.
It’s a little scary at first, but you learn to take it in stride.
Where as Todoroki figures out what he’s feeling and is scared of it-- Bakugou has no clue and it just makes him angrier. He never takes it out on you, though it confuses him why he doesn't as you’re the one making him feel this way.
He trains with you, to work on learning how to resist your water power, of course-- and during one of these sessions is when all hell breaks loose. He corners you after blocking one of his explosions so perfectly-- raging over how light he feels around you, and why he’s so impressed with your strength rather than threatened.
It takes you all of five seconds to realize this is a confession-- he doesn’t even know it himself. It makes your heart swell, despite his rough and accusatory tone, that Bakugou of all people thinks you’re strong.
He about blows up when you say you like him too, and admire his dedication and strength. He actually blows up when you kiss his check, skipping away merrily.
