Hello! I heard my art/writing blog had been revealed to you! (creativeskullcreations)
GOTCHA!
Seriously though, your writing is incredible!! I absolutely loved Buddy’s Problem and look forward to your future work!! ❤️
Oooo, Zim's getting impatient, I see. Sometimes you just have to take things into your own hands. Or rather, make your crush take you into his hands. XD
He legit never planned any of this, and that’s likely why Dib believes it so easy. Zim never thought of it, and so Dib could’t figure it out. There was no plan to figure out, and since this is something that actually does help Zim achieve his goals and makes Dib feel “humiliated” in the profess, to him it makes sense this was Zim’s end goal the whole time.
It also helps that giving Zim a massage is something he would very much like to do, and given such a good excuse to do it without shaking their status quo of course he was gonna let it convince him.
Okay, but, like, what would Dib's reaction to getting his doll back all clean and fresh and "just like" be?
Honestly he rather think he cleaned it himself....this is one of those occasions where clearly lying to yourself would be better than trying to find out the truth.
I'm very sad because I work on Sunday, and I'm gonna miss your next stream! D: On the other hand the fact you're doing a stream means there's gonna be more content soon so woo!
It’s ok tho! starting this month I’m gonna be releasing my Patreon and if things go well I can start streaming a lot more often and with different timezones so a lot of ppl get to chatch at least one every month :D
Went to put away all my winter clothes and realized that I have way too many. If anyone wants something before it get donated, and you know who you are, feel free to come by and dig through everything!
What if Belos is cursed with the same(or a similar) curse as Eda? It would explain why he eats magic, he's trying to stave it off. Could also explain why he wants to go to Earth/unite it with the Isles, too.He could be hoping the curse would break if he meets that goal.
I’d had this thought too, actually! What got me thinking about it it was the message that was uncovered throughout season one, though.
TWO WITCHES TORN APART NOW ALONE
TWO HEARTS OF STONE
A CURSE OF FEATHERS AND MUD
A BETRAYAL OF BLOOD
So like. Obviously this is about Eda and Lilith - the inclusion of “a curse of feathers” and “a betrayal of blood” leaves little doubt of that. But it’s fun to theorize even if I’m fully aware it’s unlikely and literally not that deep, so here we go: What if this message has a double meaning, and Dana and the crew pulled a sneaky on us by making us believe that it was only about the Clawthorne sisters? What if the “two witches torn apart now alone” line wasn’t about Eda and Lilith being torn apart from each other, but about Eda and Belos being physically torn apart by their respective curses, and now isolating themselves?
It’s the inclusion of the word “mud” that draws me in, honestly. Eda’s definitely got the “feathers” part covered, but... mud? At what point in her curse does mud factor in? SO what if that part of the message is referring to a different curse entirely? On an entirely different person? I have no idea what a “mud curse” would involve or why Bels would need to absorb magic to combat it, but I’d definitely be interested to find out.
Also, this would be a cool as hell juxtaposition for these characters. Eda is cursed and ostracized because of it - she copes by making a point to live by her own rules, so when she finally succumbs she has no regrets. Belos is cursed with God knows what to the degree he feels the need to hole up in his castle - he copes by apparently taking it out on everybody else. THAT’S how you do narrative foils people.
Pink Diamond looks like she's there to cause problems on purpose. (I've never seen the Beetlejuice cartoon, only the movie, but this is still a cool AU.)
Oh yeah, she’s a spoiled brat. In the cartoon and in this AU. But at least in this AU I can try to give her some depth beyond the valley-girl stereotype.
In the cartoon, Claire’s the typical nasty, blonde, rich girl to contrast Lydia’s ‘weird’, gothy nature (the cartoon was made in the late 80′s/early 90′s tho. can u really expect more from it?). She was basically made to be hated as a character, or at least irritate the hell outta people. >_>
Here she’s still that, but more on the level of canon!Pink Diamond before she had her character development. Which will happen for Claire!Pink later on, thanks to Lydia.
