𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄.

I know that we're lowkey having a hard time trying to cope with all the new things that came up recently. All of us seem to be down in the dumps because we've all been holding up for almost two years now, and we've been forced to continue living our lives virtually. We don't know what everyone's been going through behind their screens. Some people are finding it hard to adapt to the "new normal" society that the pandemic brought upon us. That is why we should not pass judgment on others, especially if they have made a mistake.

We don't know what they've been going through and why they did what they did, so I think it's just fair to spare extra kindness and understanding to those who need it. We may not exactly know who those people are. That's why we should be extra kind to everyone. It will help those people who are struggling. We should be more careful with our words because there are situations in which we run our mouths recklessly without thinking about how it could affect other people.

I'm just saying that we should be mindful and kind with our words. It might not be a lot, but it certainly would help some people out there. Extra kindness and understanding won't bring us any harm, and I'm sure it would be really helpful to those who are silently struggling.

Most of us are suffering, I know depression is something. We are trapped at home, feeling empty and alone.

If you feel you can't cope, Always remember that there's hope.

It's okay not to be okay, Maybe it feels tiring and heavy. But at the end of the day, You'll say, "I survived today."

First Steps on an Unknown Planet

Elena looks around. It is dark, and the sky has a black color without any stars. She thinks about her boyfriend. "There is no chance that he died! I know him for twelve years, and he is strong enough. I will see him again. I am sure about that." She hears nothing but the silence. Never before has she heard absolutely nothing. And suddenly, she realizes that she is alone. There are no creatures on this planet. Everything is destroyed. A teardrop rolls over her pale face as she thinks about her situation. And she takes the first step on this unknown planet.

As she walks on the dark planet, she is terrified of silent surroundings rather than blasts. Elena does not know where to go; she wants to look for her love, but she does not know where and how to find Agóri. Elena continued to walk and search the unknown until she saw a white-haired man wearing an armored dress, his back facing her. "Excuse me, my lord." Elena said, hesitant. The man met him, and she was surprised to see Ischyrós. Elena is aware that a God can create anything and is influential among the gods and goddesses. "Oh, I thought all humans are dead." Ischyrós said. "What? Am I the only human alive?" Elena was trembling in fear and worry about his boyfriend. "This is the third planet among the four planets that I visited to check if there are any humans or animals who survived the destruction made by Agápi." Ischyrós said and touched the wounds of Elena and healed.

"Wow, you are the powerful god. You can also heal wounds!" Elena said with a surprised expression. "I can only heal wounds but not bring back lives." Ischyrós then smile at Elena. Elena is slowly losing hope in finding her love. She is thinking, "what if Agóri is dead? I cannot live without him". Elena stared at Ischyrós, hoping that he can help her find her boyfriend alive or dead. "My lord, can you help me find my boyfriend? His name is Agóri. I want to see him even if he is dead," Elena said to Ischyrós, full of hope. Ischyrós nodded and said, "Of course I can help you. I will accompany you in finding him so that you will not be afraid." They both started searching everywhere on the planet Mávros. When they are done and find nothing, Ischyrós used his power to go to the last world called Ble.

When they arrived at the Ble, Elena felt hopeless again. "What if Agóri is dead? How will I live happily?" she said to herself. "Are you alright?" Ischyrós suddenly spoke. "I am not, my lord. I want to hug him and tell him how much I love him." a tear fell from Elena's eyes. They started to walk, and they heard some noises. "I think you are not the only one who is alive." Ischyrós smiled at Elena to cheer her up. They have begun to search everywhere, and when they reach a forest, they saw a man looking for something. When the man met Elena's eyes, Elena hurriedly ran toward the man and hugged him tightly. "I thought you were dead." Elena said, crying her heart out. Agóri hugged Elena tightly and whispered to her, "I was looking for you. I could not go to the other planets because I do not know how. I am so afraid of losing you, Elena. I love you". Elena felt so happy at the same time, emotional pain for all the situations she faced. "I love you, Agóri." Elena said. "I know I have not told you before that I want to marry you. I know that this world is destroyed, and I do not know how to start again, but I want to live on a planet where there are only two of us and our future children." Agóri then kissed Elena full of love.

Ischyrós, Agóri, and Elena decided to go to the planet To Kókkino to fix it and make it Elena and Agóri's new home. While they were walking, they heard a noise coming from a wild creature. Elena and Agóri trembled in fear, so Ischyrós left the two and looked for the wild creature so he can kill it. Elena and Agóri hid behind the tall tree and waited for Ischyrós to come back. "Let us stay here for a while. I think we are safe here." Agóri assured Elena. Elena fell asleep while they were waiting, but Agóri stayed up to ensure they were safe from any creatures.

Agóri then saw a giant creature, and its size is taller than the tree they were hiding. He went closer to the enormous beast and was surprised when it looked at him. He tried to fight with the creature, but it is too much for him, so he ran as far from Elena as possible so he would not put Elena's life in danger.  Even though he did his best to run and be safe, the colossal creature caught him. "I am sorry for not keeping my promise to marry you, Elena. I love you." Agóri said before his sight turned dark.

Elena wakes up when she heard Ischyrós's voice. "Wake up, Elena. I did not find where the noise came from." Ischyrós said breathlessly. Elena stood up and asked Ischyrós, "Where is Agóri?" Ischyrós looked at Elena with much confusion. "I left the two of you, right? I am the one that should be asking you that question." Then Elena suddenly felt nervous and looked for Agóri. When she reached an open place, she saw Agóri lying on the ground. His blood is all over the place. Elena felt weak and kneel; she cried loudly and shouted, "Agóri! Why? You promised me!" Ischyrós comforts Elena because he felt guilty that he cannot do anything for Elena. "Please, my lord, make him live again. I do not know how to live without him." Elena said, rubbing Ischyrós foot, begging. Ischyrós lift Elena to stand up and said, "I already told you that I could not bring back dead people." Elena felt helpless and empty, knowing that she will continue living without her love.

After a month, Ischyrós fixed the planet of To Kókkino as what he promised to Elena and Agóri. He also fixed the other planets, but the other three planets stayed plain, unlike To Kókkino that has plants, humans, and animals that cannot harm humans. Elena was the one who requested not to create animals that will bring harm to humans because it was the reason why her boyfriend died. "Will you be okay here, Elena?" Ischyrós asked Elena before leaving. "Yes, my lord. Thank you for everything." Elena said, then hugged Ischyrós. "No problem, Elena. Do you want me to create a new Agóri?" with a serious face, Ischyrós said. Elena laughed bitterly, "Even if you create another Agóri, he will not be the same man that I loved.", "Okay then. I am leaving now. And I want you to rule over this planet." Ischyrós said that made shocked Elena. "My lord? You will entrust me with this planet?" said Elena with a wide smile. Ischyrós nodded and said, "From now on, you will be called Eiríni, which means peace. Make this place peaceful." Then he confidently left because he knew that Elena could protect and take care of the planet by herself.

After a year, Elena is happy and contented with the job that Ischyrós gave her. She takes care of nature and animals with the help of other humans. "Goddess Eiríni, it is time for your rest." One of her deputies said. Elena sighed and said to the deputy, "stop calling me goddess. I am just a human like you." The deputy smiled at her and guided her to the place where she will rest.

She never looked for a husband because her heart only belongs to her love, Agóri. Elena knew to herself that Agóri is peaceful wherever he is. And she promised herself to live a life with no regrets so that when she dies and meets Agóri to paradise, she would be able to tell him everything. "Agóri, my love, wait for me." Elena said with a sincere smile on her face. No one compares to sacrificial love. It is not a sad life for Elena because she knows there is another world for those humans who die. Elena looked up at the sky and said, "I know you are there, Agóri. Be happy, okay? I am okay down here, so do not worry." then she laughed at herself for talking to heaven. She closed her eyes to take a nap when she heard, "I love you, Elena." Elena smile with her eyes closed, believing that it is only a dream that the sound came from heaven.

From the deep oceans, you help me to survive,

Dark cave, you gave me a light,

Dark forests you help me to let go,

But, from light, you left and disappear like a bubble.

 “I love you” that word that I always hear from you,

“I miss you,” you say this every time you miss me,

“I hate you” that word that makes me hurt a lot,

“Let’s end this relationship” that word that can pull me down.

You speak a lot with a full of promises but you act nothing,

You say “I love you” but it's not coming from your heart,

You are on my side but you go to another side,

You leave, you leave me alone in a secluded.

 Me, Best friend, who will you choose?

You’re girlfriend or girl best friend,

You left me behind while you choose your path with your best friend,

You abandoned me while suffering.

 I cry, cry every night thinking if I was enough?

Am I not enough? Or you are not enough for me?

I did everything but you didn’t appreciate it,

I run and love myself until I fly

Fly to leave you,

Fly to become happy,

Fly to become tranquil,

Fly to love myself.

 I thought you love me but the reality is not,

Your best friend is my best friend,

Our best friend is like a snake,

It suits the color red to her because she’s a snake.

 She smells like garbage,

She smiles like a devil,

She plays like a kid,

A desperate woman.

 The color red to my heart is now changed,

I deactivate my feelings to you,

I turned off my hearing to avoid all your excuses,

I will never hold your hands anymore.

 We can’t back the past,

I learn to move on for myself for my future,

The future is uncertain,

I need to focus on myself.

The past is dark,

The present is a little bit lighten up,

The future is bright than to bright,

The future is the first priority.

 I fly so that my future will not stay from the dark,

I fly so that my future become perfect,

Loving myself first to have a perfect path in the future,

My future is my priority that why I need to fly, fly.

Rayu stood rooted to the spot, the overwhelming sense of insignificance utterly engulfed him as his mind struggled to to process the enormity of the towering city that lay before him.

Impossibly tall spires rising up from the red mist of the desert to penetrate way beyond the thinning layer of cloud looked like they could pierce the sky itself. The evening sun cast gargantuan shadows that would dwarf any city he had seen before.

He had been travelling for what seemed like a lifetime and as he stood there with the wind blowing gusts of dry stinging sand onto his exposed weather beaten hands and face he realised that a single tear ran down the parched landscape of his cheek.

The myth he had gambled his whole life on had turned out to be true……..unless what he saw before him was some kind of mirage or hallucination brought on by lack of food, water and sleep he had found the fabled desert city.

With this realisation setting in he wiped the tear from his face with a dry cracked hand and dropped to his knees and began to laugh. Relief flooded his body as he ran his fingers through the gritty sand, his journey was at an end. Slowly his laughter turned to weeping, softly at first but soon sobs wracked his entire body.

Scooping up handfuls of dirt he threw his head back and let out a long tear soaked howl.

…………He had arrived.
