Rise has the scariest Krang
2012 has the scariest Shredder
In my opinion the krang had more of a comedic role in 2012. Were they intimidating? Yes. But I could not take them seriously when they talked. "Kraang must go to this place at the designated time." Ya get the gist. Shredder on the other hand though. That man constantly hunted down the turtles and their friends and family. He definitely didn't love his daughter. That man was the reason Leo was in a coma. Shredder managed to kill Splinter! He scares me.
Now onto Rise. I know you may be saying, "But Happy! Shredder was a literal demon in Rise." First off, man makes a deal with a powerful/magical being and gets stuck for like forever in the form of a monster, only to be free by a parent/child team frees him by destroying the monster trapping him. The plot is similar to Brave. Not that scary when you find out the poor guy was trapped in there. Secondly, who gave him the armor? Who's dead body created all of Yokai-kind? The Krang. Shredder is not that scary when you find out who made the armor that made him scary. Also! They were able to take over the entire world in another timeline! 12!Kraang couldn't keep a hold of NYC for 3 months!
So in short 12!Shredder is scarier than Rise and vice versa with the Krang
