Pssssst, hey. Heeeyyyy. You there. No no no, not them, you. Yeah, you, the one reading this.
Do you want to learn how to art? Do you want to learn from one of the guys who directed your favorite Disney movie, Brother Bear? Do you want to spend less money than the cost of a McDonald's Happy Meal to learn it?
Yeah you do, don't lie to yourself. I mean, or do, I ain't your mom. But either way, scoot ya boot on over to creatureartteacher.com! It's owned and run by Aaron Blaise, but he's got a ton of other industry professionals who have their own courses up for sale, too. There's a whole intro to 3D animation course! For Blender! By Jeff Schu who worked on Surf's Up and the Chronicles of Narnia, do you know how stoked I am?! I'm kicking myself how the hell did I miss that newsletter what the fu—
*ahem* Sorry. I know what I'm doing with my Blender time when I'm done with my current project lol
Anyway! Aaron's got a 50% off code running rn. Yeah, half off! Here, I've even clicked the button for you to save you a step. The only "lesson" it doesn't apply to is the membership, but that's on sale, too. (It also doesn't apply to anything that isn't a lesson, course, or course bundle, like the reference books or art prints.) And yeah, I know, I get it, $150/year until you cancel it is still steep for a lot of us. I totally understand, my bank account balance is only two digits rn (four if you include the numbers after the decimal). I'm scared to check the exact number tbh.
Aaron gets it, too. That's why he started Creature Art Teacher, and why he's got that half off code running. Half off any order over $20.01 (re-emphasis that it only works on lessons/tutorials/course bundles), I checked. That's $10 after the discount. Yep, checked that, too. And yes, it applies to the lessons that are already on sale. You bet your britches I checked that for you. I am nothing if not obnoxiously thorough. Or just obnoxious, jury's still out.
Now, that code expires on June 24, 2025, but if you miss it don't worry. There's pretty much always some kind of sale running. There's plenty of lessons for sale at only $5 on regular rotation. Yeah, five dollars. That's not a typo. Maybe the lesson you really want isn't on sale right now. That's okay. It will be at some point. He wants you to learn how to art as much as I want you to learn how to art, which is at least as much as you want you to learn how to art. Maybe more, idk how strongly you feel about learning how to art, but I assume it's at least hella. Hella's a unit of measurement, it exceeds a metric fuckton by, like, a lot. Trust me, I glanced in the general direction of a math book once.
And hey, if you sign up for the newsletter you get a free pdf on how to draw elephants :) Also, like, notified of future sales and discount codes, that's cool, too, but come on. You want to draw an elephant. You know you do.
Aaron’s Art Tips #16: Animation Lesson - Overlapping Action In Animation
I'm learning watercolour paints, following Aaron Blaise's course!
The painting's not perfect but for the fourth one ever, I'm proud of how this sky turned out
Been in the mood to study some bears lately. This is a sketch I did following one of Aaron Blaise's animal drawing tutorials. I always learn a lot from his work, I recommend checking him out if you're up for some inspiration! :D
I’m sharing the draw-along learning scribbles I did while watching through Aaron Blaise’s anatomy course, it’s something I’ve wanted to brush up on for a while, and just learn more in depth. This is a really great course for it! For now here’s some skellies and skulls from his teaching!

Last day in California. Today I'm flying out! The stress is real again with nightmares and everything😅 This is about the fear of missing the plane or forgetting important documents etc ofc. These are my three art direction pages for @armand_serrano mentorship. Technically I do now have the tools to redo my keyframe but the time was up. 8 weeks of hard work between 9 lessons. With a thorough study about the differences between a mouse and a rat. Since that just became confusing to me at some point. I'm especially proud of my clothing folds in the third slide. I followed the @aaronblaiseart course at #creatureartteacher for those. Like a little side class for the mentorclass.😉 This concludes my mentorship with Armand. Thank you so much for teaching! I might just be back next year! ❤ (bij San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj-xrWkr4d2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Finally finished the wolf feet a legs at creatureartteacher.com. I struggled for a bit between getting it look right (in my own eyes) and just having no motivation to draw period. . . . #artstagram #artistsoninstagram #artist #creatureartteacher #creatureartteacherclass #wolves #wolfartwork #wolfpractice #digitalartist https://www.instagram.com/p/CHgVTVHBPDq/?igshid=498xdjy6vz25
