Duke is a silly yet Docile creature. Grimm found him injured when she was with her old team on patrol, After he recovered it was later on discovered that he was Grimm’s Familiar and she was unaware that she was his Tamer.
He doesn’t like being seperated from his Tamer unless they are with someone both him and Grimm trusts. He can be rather mischiveous using his ability to conduct and control electricty to shock people who give his tamer a hard time.
When in Familiar Form he loves to sit in bowls or cups like a cat and sleep. why he does this? No one really knows. Also besides his powers with lighting and electricity he has another quirk that makes him rather unique; his diet. While some of it is Fruits and Seeds the main staple in his species diet is dust.
Thats Right Dust. His Species has developed the taste for dust crystals and depending on the type of Dust , They can temorarliy have different abilities other than controlling lighting. If they eat a fire one they can breathe fire, Ice makes them fire Ice beams. The possibilites are endless.
While they mostly prefer lightening crystals they can track and dig up any crystals. Back in the day many humans trapped em and forced them to look for dust in cramped mines.
