Cuando te digan "Te quiero" que te digan para que.
It’s not close minded to dismiss claims of literal magic that have no merit.
“Apparently, if you're a believer, having faith is all about being able to believe the most patently ridiculous things, and not be criticized or ridiculed for it. If an atheist wants people to believe in something, they need evidence to back it up and any test results must be capable of duplication.”
-- Dean Van Drasek
Why do we celebrate credulity and disparage skepticism? Why, in the marketplace of superstitious ideas, is it a seller’s market, not a buyer’s market? And how does this benefit anyone other than the seller?
It’s not open minded to accept ideas uncritically. It’s not closed minded to ask you to back up your idea before others accept it.
Because it’s theologically unreasonable to have reasonable expectations.
And vice versa.
