I never understood why music elitists are so proud of themselves.

I'm talking about people who have one specific (sub-(sub-))genre they listen to and constantly complain about how awful other genres are, how another genre isn't "real" music etc. And god forbid someone dares to turn the radio on and they have to listen to pop music.

How can you be so arrogant and proud of yourself for being so extremely close minded?

(And I'm not talking about neurodivergent people who are only comfortable with specific music, because they only politely ask for accommodation, and don't insult others who have different tastes)

Good luck today to everyone who has to put on a nice face for family members, who'll have to bite their cheek to not say what they are thinking very loudly when a family member days something offensive and the rest of them agree, to the people who won't be able to have a dark silent space to regroup all day.

So i keep sèeing one of my close relatives post racist things, and he sent me an email about how black people arent getting treated the same as white because weve tried to integrate them with our society but they keep choosing to be in the worst type of lifes...... He also shared a thing on facebook that said "if u are a real brittish person, burkahs should offend you" And "adam and eve not adam and steve." Its really bothering me, but hes the kind of person that his opinion is right and he'll back it up with assholes articles on the Internet, people as ridiculous as him. I love him to bits, but this is really bothering me.
