Description: “I’ll help you get through this, okay? We can do this together.”

 The members of ALF are on an intelligence mission to find out what MirandoCorp has been doing since the events in New York. When another group of animal rights activists cause all hell to break loose, Jay is forced to flee with another attendee and comfort her during an anxiety attack.

This fic is a canon-compliant, reader-insert that takes place a year after the events of Okja. Written for Tumblr user @creepling​'s 200 Follower Event.

So it looks like the “Creeplings” you can summon as tenants CAN become ship crew members, as they’re coded as player-race NPCs in costumes. This certainly will give your crew a little more variety.

Sadly, it looks like most of the rest of the NPC races are coded differently, so you can’t get Alpaca, Fenerox, or Froggs as crew. Unsure about the Maggots; they have a similar “fake back body” as the Alpaca, but the wiki says they’re costumed-player-races in coding, so you MIGHT be able to hire them... but then they’d lose their Maggot body-costume bits and that’d just look WEIRD.

Of course, you CAN get them as tenants on your ship, but they won’t be able to follow you planetside and be backup. There’s probably mods for that.
