making his way towards the demontfort mansion was a hard enough task for an early hour like this . sure clifford was known for making mistakes , it was in his blood and everyone around him was used to it , and so was he , however this was one of those rare occasions where he regretted what he did , in fact he hated himself for it . you see , ever since he was a child clifford was desperately searching for that one thing that would finally make his parents notice him more , a thing that would at least for a day , put him above his brother and make him somewhat superior to him . and after so many years , when the opportunity came , he had to grab it immediately , no matter what it was , all he had in his mind when it happened was how he was finally better , finally he had something that he could shove into his brother’s face and say ‘hey , i’m better than you ’. however, that feeling was quickly brushed off in the morning after , when the feeling of superiority was replaced by regret , because what he did would not only hurt his brother , but also someone he deeply cared about - sienna. his brother may have deserved this , but sienna ? what was her fault in this ? just when things were getting better between them , just when he almost had her in his arms again , they were back to the beginning , or even worse , to a place where it seemed like she had given up on him . so here he was , parking his car in front of her house , uninvited , making his way to right the bell , in hopes that maybe , just maybe , there still was someone on the other side that was willing to answer .
