She was totally jealous. Some nice princess-coloring would make her day go tons faster.

Haha, thanks! I didn’t use the app, because it seemed like it was more trouble than it was worth, and I didn’t want to limit myself on the colors I could use so that the app would pick them up. I just wanted to color a dragon. I will look into the Dover coloring books! I’ve seen some coloring books for adults before, and have coveted but never purchased them.

Exactly. The fact that you found it as fun as I did and that it's short were major considerations in my decision to teach it and to keep teaching it every time I get this class.

You are the main reason I decided to teach that book, because I was like, "Oh, it's so ridiculous and fun, and also WHITNEY READ THE WHOLE THING FOR CLASS, which means MY STUDENTS MIGHT, TOO." You made me believe in the magical, universal appeal of giant helmets falling from the sky, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I know I haven't been on tumblr very much (no regular internet and all) but I wanted you to know that I hope you're doing well! You are a wonderful person and you deserve the best!

I was wondering where my cricket went to!  *glomp attacks*  I must have sent you like five messages while you were gone to check up on you!  

I'm doing okay.  I'm sick today or else I'd have better news for you, but yeah, that's my life at the moment.
