The point was that the song is at a whole number tempo when it’s slowed to exactly one key lower. 167 beats per minute. If you watch that video it never deviates from the click that’s playing at half speed of 167.
The song is not at a whole number tempo if it’s at it’s normal pitch.
Because of how songs are recorded and produced, it really seems like the song was recorded at 167 BPM, and then sped up, and that would also mean pitched up, for release.
