« April 21, 2021 » Lab days are my favorite, even when everything seems to go wrong. Tomorrow morning I get to teach my second lesson to my 3rd grade partner classroom, and I’m excited to see the kids again. There’s only 2 more week of class and then finals the week after, and then I’ll be finished with my first year of college!
« March 23, 2021 » There is something so satisfying about annotating DNA sequences. My CRISPR design strategy for my gene was approved this afternoon, so I’m super excited to be able to get started on making my very own glow worm!!

Day 22- What’s your comfort food/ comfort routine for sad days?
I would have to say macaroni or any type of soup, especially homemade. They’re such comforting and warming foods in general I think.
Day 23- What’s some random miscellaneous piece of information that you just happen to know?
The “ruby” slippers in The Wizard of Oz are actually written as silver in the book, but they made them red for the film so they would be seen better. Also they used chocolate syrup for the Tin Man’s oil
