His father is a pastor and everything. His outlandish behavior attracts the attention of a dominant man, who isn't willing to abuse him.
Cha Woo-kyung is great if you're craving something unique. He's hard to understand because he's an actual hardcore fetishist. Like, it's ruining his life. His grades are slipping. He has a stalker. He doesn't care one bit either, because he's finally free. Now that he's finally in college he can flaunt his ass in gay bars. He can hit up chat apps. It's all he does with his time. He's so repressed. He doesn't know how to stop. Everything feels good for him.
Heewon is a Dom that notices Cha Woo-kyung is in danger. He showed up in a dungeon bar looking for a chat hookup. His free drink is spiked, and he's about to get raped.

Cha Woo-kyung enticed a freshman named Seungmin. Cha Woo-kyung pretended to be drunk. When Seungmin attacked him he pretended to struggle. He even called the other man a rapist. This was all for his own enjoyment, but that led into a toxic relationship. He continued to meet with Seungmin until the man became obsessed and paranoid.
You see Seungmin is an athlete on the national level. He's insecure about being attracted to other men. He's scared of losing his career if rape charges come up. Cha Woo-kyung keeps soliciting him for sex, which confuses and scares him even more. Which leads to Seungmin hopelessly following Cha Woo-kyung around because....duh he's a repressed guy that just got his first taste. His first partner has no limits. He can indulge in his violent urges, and everything he's ashamed of. The issue is Seungmin isn't a Dom or a Sadist. He's just a guy trying to coerce another guy into a toxic and abusive relationship.
Cha Woo-kyung breaks up with Seungmin, but he doesn't go away. Of course he doesn't.
Cha Woo-kyung didn't set any boundaries, and now a pervert is after him.
Cha Woo-kyung is very attractive though, so Heewon does respond to his provocation. Cha Woo-kyung is so dedicated to getting his rocks off. He's willing to play the clean way as well. He assumes the nameless Heewoon, who likes to be called "Sir", is an experienced and emotionless sadist.

Don't get it twisted he enjoys sadistic play, but after that he starts asking for his favorite things. His end goal is to ask Cha Woo-kyung to be his Sub.
Something Cha Woo-kyung has never even considered, because he's not looking for a dominant man.

Cha Woo-kyung does get used to it. Heewon is demanding, but being cared about does make the pain more enjoyable. Cha Woo-kyung struggles with wanting to play harder, while his Sir encourages him to take breaks.
Cha Woo-kyung slowly realizes that feeling good doesn't have to be some manipulative or cruel game.
Heewon isn't a total angel either. It was really shitty of him to not mention that he's a LIFESTYLE dominant. Like imagine an extra clingy and bossy boyfriend with a whip. It's not the most common type of BDSM. Alot of it is loveless and free of possessiveness, which makes it freeing for alot of people.
It's a funny situation to read. If you happen to be into "Daddies" this is the ideal story for you. There are some points where Heewon reeeaaaaalllyyy starts to parent Cha Woo-kyung. To the point where it gets uncomfortable. It took me a couple of chapters to even realize it's another one of his fetishes. It's not so obvious. Is he really possessive, or is he just playing around? It's a real question. Heewon doesn't make it obvious for a while.
He starts trying to make Cha Woo-kyung's life better. Good food. Get well soon text messages. Orders with nothing but goodwill behind them. Do your homework. Carry a stun gun because you have a stalker, idiot!
Stuff like that.
It's really confusing for Cha Woo-kyung, who was after a completely emotionless fling.
Heewon gets drunk. He calls Cha Woo-kyung over. Cha Woo-kyung gets a creepy phone call from Seungmin. Heewon finds out that the stalking is getting more serious. Seungmin knows where Cha Woo-kyung lives. He won't stop calling and worst of all he knows his CURRENT HOKE ADDRESS.
Heewon decides to bring up his own needs. He also tries to be honest about how Cha Woo-kyung is stressing him out.
It's portrayed pretty well through his more selfish play sessions. Cha Woo-kyung isn't really into puppy play. Puppy play involves alot of nonsexual acts. Like being fed, walked, bathed, and being told to sleep on the floor. None of that involves slap around sex, so he has no interest.
He does realize how selfish he's been though.
Heewon has needs too.
He hasn't been fully satisfied during their whipping sessions. There's a difference between letting it out and really letting it go. Cha Woo-kyung plays along to please him........and it's not so bad. He slowly and organically learns that he has power as a masochist (maybe future sub) and reciprocal pleasure can be part of his needs.

Cha Woo-kyung is sincerely an impressive protagonist. Even when he's surrounded by money all he can think about is getting whipped. When Heewon spoils him more he literally complains and begs for abuse instead.
