CRITIQUE SERVICES
I’ve posted something like this before so I’m just reposting to keep it in the circuit:
I’M ACCEPTING MANUSCRIPTS FOR NOVELS, SHORT STORIES, & PARTIAL NOVELS + BOOK SYNOPSES (basically the first 50 or 100 pages and a full book synopsis, like what you’d send to an agent).
Background: In addition to being a professional writer and teaching writing, I’ve participated in workshops either as a writer getting my work critiqued or critiquing others’ books/stories for about 20 years. This is just to say that I’ve been doing it for a while, and I think I’m somewhat better at editing others’ work than I am with my own (as most people are…which is why writers still like editors). My critiques involve both line edits and all of the bigger issues (characterization, plot, structure, dialogue, pacing, etc.) Any genre is fine - I read widely.
This would be a business transaction with a mutually signed contract outlining the rates and services (I charge the standard Canadian freelance rate, just so you know it’s not an arbitrary number). Payment would be through PayPal (though if that’s really impossible, we could negotiate checks.)

I have been professionally providing novel critiques to some of my ex-students for the past little while. I've decided to offer the same to any readers/amateur writers in the online world who might have completed manuscripts they would like to take to the next level.
