not a submission but a question if you know a good place to search about all types of ladybugs/lady beetles/ladybirds? im making a list about them and mid way i noticed i could only rely on wiki pedia and that some google results i got where made using ai which makes things harder. if you know a site, forum, blog or even a book or something i would really appreciate the help.

It's organized from most-commonly sighted to least-commonly sighted, but you can also use the filters to view only ones in certain areas or whatever.

Does the kwamis in you vigilante au appear as virtual pets on their phones? Because i think it would be funny plagg fill-up adrien notifications with "FEED ME!"

they do! they can either appear has their full body animated on their phone or just their eyes on the screen

I was thinking how to incorporate plagg's cheese addiction and I was thinking like in a game way

marinette has the same game with tikki and cookies on her phone, but tikki is sweet and affirmative while plagg is more like "is this the only cheese you've got?!" "your aim is weak!" so feeding plagg is not adrien's favourite activity lol but he has too or else he won't be able to use his phone because of the cheese notifs!!

Who do you use whatsapp for fic research?!

I basically want to write a scene where there's a phone call, and ideally it will be a phone call because I don't want Person A to know that the caller is actually Person B, but it's an international call so I'm not sure it makes sense for them to be using an actual phone call instead of a messaging app. And someone told me that Whatsapp might work for preserving the anonymity created by phone numbers while also avoiding international phone call fees.

(I actually think it doesn't make as much sense as it needs to, or at least not as much sense as just ignoring how much the call would cost for the sake of the story, but for a sec I thought it might work. But again, I don't know how Whatsapp works, so I wouldn't be able to write it well.)

Ok I see everyone talking about this "Bluenette" thing and I never understood the meaning of this because I saw that word (or a similar one idk) in other places so what does that standes for? Is like the word "azulada" in portuguese that means something that has blue light or something similar?

it’s a play on the word “brunette” with the word blue, essentially meaning “a person with blue hair,” but it’s not a real word, it’s something seen almost exclusively in fanfiction, to my knowledge. it’s not exclusive to miraculous ladybug, though. aside from it not being an actual word, epithets like this tend to be overused in fanfic, which is generally considered a writing no-no (that is not to say they should never be used, but they should be used with intent)

With that, I would like to give a big thank you to @crizztelcb, for listening to me rant about my fic on multiple occasions (and actually liking my ideas XD).

It made me feel a whole lot better and even restored some of my motivation for writing it, when I really thought that part of me was dead.

I am planning on one more of them to appear, I don't have plans at the moment for more and I'm not sure if it will fit the story. but ive been thinking lately of just doing redesigns of some, because ppl have been asking lol

so yea I'll probably do just redesigns without the promise of them appearing in my au (/•ᴗ•)/💖
