Go, Gators
wow, close call!
I did a twitter thread on dealing with animal attacks! Thankfully with most of the ones where the only option is to shoot it, actual deadly attacks are pretty rare nowadays. Feel free to send asks if you have any questions about this! (I’m sharing because it’s an interest, rather than being genuinely worried. Animal attacks are rare in general, and you have more chance of being struck by lightning.)
Crocodile attack and lost world dime novel, Medal Library No. 232, 1903, "The Valley of Mystery; or, The Search for the Flower of Gold: A Story of Venezuela" by Henry Harrison Lewis. Also printed as hardback.
The Steam Man of the West
28 year old Irving Mauricio was both viciously and fatally attacked by a crocodile in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico a few days ago for what sounds like a swim at the beach in the tourist town. Too young to die RIP!
