With these vegan-friendly cronuts, you can enjoy the irresistible mix of flaky croissant and donut flavors. They are simple to make and taste great for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients: 1 can refrigerated vegan crescent roll dough. 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 tablespoons almond milk. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Spread the crescent roll dough out and cut it into triangles. Cut a hole in the middle of each triangle with a small round cookie cutter. Make a donut shape by twisting each triangle a few times. Put the cronuts that have been shaped on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Put the cinnamon and granulated sugar in a shallow dish and mix them together. When the cronuts are still warm from the oven, brush them with melted vegan butter and then cover them in the cinnamon-sugar mix. Use a different bowl to mix the powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk them together until the glaze is smooth. Put the glaze on top of the cronuts. Enjoy while still warm!
