since i'm losing all sense of shame have these doodles of Maya Fey from an RP game where characters are slowly turned into different monsters in a 50s town where the original residents serve as their monster food source. She was sorted mermaid, so I made her an orca because of their matriarchal nature. She was sorted four years ago... but I still draw for this all the time. Here's some stuff from earlier this year including a fake sukeban gang doodle of her and her kelpie friends.

SO THAT MONSTER GAME I JOINED. Spike (taken from the end of the TV series) got Nymph, and Vicious (taken from Ch 12 of Red Planet Requiem) got Shade. I apparently have drawn only One Colored Picture of Shade Vicious, in which he is grumping while Spike doesn't do his job and instead talks to fellow bartender Sparkling Cookie (you read that right. Panfandom rp is a trip)

anyway i'm Very Attached to Nymph Spike now, who is mainly cactus/succulent themed. His skin is v much that saguaro cactus texture even though he doesn't have spines everywhere, and he has jewel cactus and Space Weed growing out of his scars. Nymphs in this game are allowed to have vines like bulbasaur and Spike's are covered in, well, spikes, and grow out of a peyote flower on his back. His hair is now Weeping Love Grass, and he produces miniature sweet peppers and berries on his vines :' ) OH and he's got magic mushroom horns. Because i wanted to, and to harken back to that anime trope of mushrooms on the head meaning you're a depressed person fdhsiugh

i'm very attached to the idea of him learning to love plants in this place where he's forced away from space and getting to like, have a role in nurturing them, even if his own nurturing is gonna come from devouring humans....

I play in some crossover RP games over on dreamwidth and one of the places involves characters from whatever canon getting sucked into this world where they turn into monsters, and got to play Souda (taken from after the end of the anime) turning into a gargoyle alongside some canonmates for a bit. I'm really proud of how his design turned out and of all the little interaction doodles I did.... For context, Komaeda got turned into a mermaid (his player used some REALLY COOL lanternfish and sea dragon motifs) and Sonia got turned into a kelpie (the other girl is one she was dating, who was also a kelpie) and so that's why their hair looks, y'know. like seaweed a lot of my art is turning characters into monsters or pokemon........ rip
