Encouraged by the placebo effect observed after the second flavour update, which successfully "tricked" the brain into thinking it had already consumed substances like alcohol, nicotine or caffeine, a wave of studies into the posible medical aplications of the crossgear and crosscode was started.

The earliest one to show results was an attempt to combine the artificial softness, temperature control and soft ambience of crossworlds with the body de-synchronization of the crossgear to allow easier rest. While it is not recommended to sleep for long periods of time with the crossgear on, laying on a more ergonomically correct position before connecting to crossworlds and just relaxing proved and effective way to improve posture and de-stress at the same time, helpful as a last activity before going to bed.

Some claim this was already known by veteran players of crossworlds, and that results may improve with proper companionship

this is my crosscode oc, pollux. he's an evotar created from apollo's first crossworlds account and he was in vermillion wasteland for a While. he has many many mental health problems from his extended confinement and also a ton of angst surrounding his relationship with apollo, who has everything he ever wanted while he has nothing. he's (probably) not gonna have an evil clone arc over it or anything but he's not in a good mental place in the slightest
