Crossing Guard Silo combines sustainable infrastructure, recycled materials, and effective traffic calming methods to maintain pedestrian safety and accessibility.
In September 1954, The New York Times spoke with a newly initiated crossing guard named Eileen Viggiano (above) on her first day of work at P.S. 115 in the Bronx. She was part of a borough-wide crossing guard corps that included 64 women and 9 men, dressed in blue and carrying whistles. According to Viggiano, the younger children were “more obedient than the older ones.”

ELLIOT DECKER x READER HCs
Reader is friends with Milo (much to Elliot's dismay)
Your shared apartment is INCREDIBLY babyproofed (although not much)
He hides behind you when he gets attacked by a duck (the duck immediately stops attacking) (or the duck just turns and goes behind you to keep attacking him)
He is the small spoon when cuddling
Elliot loves getting a hug after a long day of work
You always patch him up after he gets attacked by a duck again
He likes treating you to a nice homemade dinner
Elliot LOVES handholding
Reader gives him a kiss on the cheek before he leaves for work
Behind closed doors, he is actually really affectionate and caring
His love languages are quality time and words of affirmation
He gives genuine compliments to anything you make, your outfits, your hair, etc.
^ Even when you think you look like a mess or you think you messed up whatever you made, he only sees beauty
He once brought a stop sign home that he accidentally stole due to some Murphy's law shenanigans (it can now be found hanging over y'alls couch)
You help him walk dogs
Figured you might want to be @'d to this, @cheetochild989
