I FREAKED OUT when Pac-Man was revealed for Sonic Racing Crossworlds.
But, when I checked in my phone earlier today…

He's a 10, but...
Liam woke to the quiet emptiness of his apartment. Which was eerie because it was never quiet where he was involved. He had another restless night other than the 2 hours where he dreamed of nothing but water. His neighbor was there. It wasn’t the first time he dreamed about him. Which should’ve been weird if Liam wasn’t constantly seeing a ghost attached to him. For months, he’s been plagued of dreams of this guy drowning.
His screams were silent, he flailed for something to hold on to. There was only the endless abyss of water. It was the same every time. Liam was helpless, only an outsider looking in. He could never make sense of it. Why was he seeing this? Why couldn’t he do anything to help him?
Speaking of his neighbor…
Liam doesn’t usually run into him in the mornings. He honestly avoids it if it means he didn’t have to confront… her. He doesn’t notice him at first until he hears his husky voice and then looks over to a splitting grin.
Theo.
His name matched his smile. Perfect.
Not that Liam’s ever really talked to the guy. In the next moment, he sees the reason why and his face falls. He doesn’t see her at first, but the tiny sound of dripping clued him in. She stood behind him, glancing over Theo’s shoulder. He knew she was his sister. That was all that he was able to gather. He assumed she had drowned by the way she dripped onto the floor. She looked about 12 years old and had an attitude to match.

"This stinks,” Skylar says with her nose scrunched up. “First day of high school and we’re already sitting at the loser table.” she looks over at Charlie, who is midbite. They’re at a small table in the back, next to the trashcan. It was the only table available aside from a girl with cracked glasses and a boy who kept playing his harmonica.
“Oh I’m sorry does the decline in my social ladder bother you?”
“Everybody is talking about it. There goes the next four years of my life all because you… What did you even do?”
Charlie looks down at his lap. “I just… I accidentally ran into this guy with my bike.”
“Rocker motor give out on you?”
“Yes,” Charlie rolls his eyes. “I don’t understand. It worked just fine all throughout middle school. I even upgraded the converter so the hyper module would boost friction resistance by 80%, but then I forgot to recalibrate the—”
“Charlie?”
“Yeah?”
“You’re doing it again.”
Charlie winces. “Sorry. I’m not helping, am I?”
“Not exactly. But you’re lucky you’re my best friend. And id honestly be doomed without you by my side so I cant really complain.” Charlie smiles at her.
“I’d sit next to the trash can for you.”
“Oh, you are.”
Kayla sits down at the table with Hunter. She has a manic smile. “We’re gonna tryout for cheerleading.”
Skylar gets a horrified look on her face. “No.”
“Weren’t you just complaining about sitting at the loser table?” Charlie then says to the two other kids sitting at the table, “No offense.”
“None taken,” they both say.
“This is the year to reinvent ourselves,” she then looks at Kayla. “Not jump around in frilly skirts, waving poms poms around.”
Kayla frowns at her. “I think you’d look cute in a cheerleading outfit.”
“You think you’d look cute in a cheerleading outfit.”
“Yeah that’s what I said.”
“I think its a great idea,” Charlie says.
Kayla lit up. “Really?”
“Yeah. It’s really smart. Statistically, your chances of getting noticed in high school would be high if you joined a popular extracurricular.”
“Where’s that put you genius?” Hunter asks him.
“After today’s events… not very high.”
“Which is why Charlie needs us. It’s a dog eat dog world here.” Skylar says.
Kayla gasps. “Charlie, you should join too!”
Charlie scoffs, “Did you not see what happened to me out there? I think joining the cheerleading team would make matters worse.”
“Charlie’s right, Kay. Those football players were ruthless. Who knows what else they could do to him?” Hunter tells his girlfriend.
“Nothing worse than the humiliation I had to endure this morning, I hope.”
“Was it that bad?” Skylar asks softly.
“Everybody could see us up there. It was embarrassing.”
“Us?” Skylar raises an eyebrow. “You weren’t alone?”
“I meant, me.”
“Charlie, did they do this to someone else?”
Kayla and Hunter looked over, inquired.
“No,” Charlie averts his eyes. “Maybe.”
“Who? Why?”
“The guy I hit with my bike. he tried to stop them and well, they didn’t quite like that.”
“Man, that sucks.”
“Well, at least you can’t say they won’t know who you are,” Hunter says encouragingly.
“I want people to know me for my music, not because they know what color my underwear is.”
“So you’ll be singing at Open Mic this Friday then?” Skylar asks.
Charlie stalls. “Right, yeah. That’s a thing we’re still doing?”
“Come on, Charlie. How are they gonna know if you don’t sing in front of anybody?”
“I can sing.”
“Your cat doesn’t count.” Skylar puts her hands on his shoulders and looks him in the eyes. “I’ve heard you sing, Charlie. You can do this.”
“I don’t know,” Charlie bites his lip and shakes his head. “Maybe we could just do a duo act again.” He looks at Skylar. “That was fun.”
“It would also be fun to duet with you.”
Charlie sighs. “I don’t know. There’s just a lot of pressure.”

Do you think Vash has a chance of making it into STRIVE? Especially since the studio producing GGS:Rulers is also working on the second season of the Trigun reboot?
People forget that Ragna=the=Bloodedge was inspired by Vash=the=Stampede, but in all honesty I'm not sure it'd be in the cards.
Mostly because we actually haven't seen much in the way of Vash as a videogame cameo character, but also because, if it WERE to happen, it would warrant some huge recognition of Vash somewhere else (i.e. having a Trigun videogame or something).
Don't get me wrong, Vash fits pretty well in Guilty Gear's Pseudo-Near-Future-Dystopian-Spaghetti-Western world, same as characters like Elphelt, Venom, and even a Gunslinger Outlaw like Happy Chaos.
I just think that they would need a strong context to include him, as a promotion along those lines.
In fact, that's the main reason most characters get released: because there's money to be had.
Well, it's a realistic reason, at the very least.
One can hope though, or at least drop the suggestion in their ear next time they run a Questionnaire.
