Thank you for the explanation, it was very informative
That being said, you do realise that you did not really warn Loki about dark magic, right? From what I can tell, you purposefully hid all information from him, including everything that might have made it clear why he should not attempt it. Everyone would have been both curious and unprepared
Perhaps actually communicating your thoughts and worries might help
- Crow
Little Crow, do you think I do not realize this? I know I made a mistake, and Loki paid the price.
Never again, starling. I try to learn from my mistakes, and oh, I have made so many over the centuries. The worst mistake one can make is the same one.
Most I have known have listened to me, heeded my every word. Even Ziard, for all his stubborn pride, listened better than Loki does. If I had hidden information from Ziard, he would have trusted in me to share it with him when the time was right.
Loki is... different. Annoyingly stubborn, and proud, but also.... gentle. Sharp, but soft, too. So kind, and yet so hurt, and I do not understand how but I am glad.
It is not right, what was done to them. By Thanos, by their family.... by me.
I should not have attempted to hide dark magic from Loki. I know that now. If I could do it over again, I would have taught Loki the theory, and explained why they should never actually attempt the magic. Perhaps they would have listened.
I will do better, Crow. If all goes well, I should be able to put the next phase of my plan into action soon. And before I do, I will tell Loki-- last time I took steps towards escape without telling them, they attempted dark magic. I will not allow that to happen again.
