Crowlander 3rd lord. Is entirely full of himself. The portrait in his palace's longhall/ waiting room, is of himself, wearing a broach, of himself, with a white wing of ice, for his ancestors' founding act of slaying a necromancer. And a gold wing based on a common asimar design, alluding to his father's alliance with the city of gold.

theres something odd about the map in town. It's pointalism, like it's pixelated. The landmass of the whole world, is made of arrows. All the world points to the little blue crown. Which is, this little trading towns location.

His father lets him decorate the whole palace for some reason. The servents are annoyed by his tantrum- and indulgent / uncomfortable 'self- lust '. And they're all real curious why his father, dosn't care how this looks (if he's supposed to be concerned about keeping the town as a hub of trade caravans) but he seems distracted by a third, deeper thing recently... And his mother (2rd lady) seems disturbed by something. She used to be a warlock who was freed from her pact by her now husband, 'but maybe all that paranoia or trauma, has caught up to her... Maybe after 15 years, she's getting creeped out by the peace and quiet. I hear that happens to adventurer veterens' ~a servent.

ity bity ist lord. He wants candys and jokes and strange animals to spoil. he treats his collection very well. hes very organised in giving all attention

He was usurped by an older cousin two years ago, who threw him in a river (we is paralysed in his legs). He was a good swimmer (considering) and Lucky he had always been friends with the local ducks, how rafted just well enough to keep him above water, and make it down river. In the estuary he was captured by pirates! Yellow beard, the old captain of the ship was going to Ransome him. Young Tiberius have Yellow beard a Saturn talking to about how rude he was to his crew and how he should act like a real lord. His crew agreed and mutiny through the old captain overboard. Tiberius was then elected captian, he parted his hair flipped it around and looked just like a blond dwarf, he then led the Scoplings against other pirates! And in trading missions. With his surprisingly good manners with crownlanders, just some instant connection they could trust. He was adorable, charming and actually successful and kind. Total change from old Yellow Beard. Privateered for a year.

Eventually he went back and the ducks told him the cool boat ride was an attempted murder "Oh I was real mad about that!" And that the usurping lord had arested good Fidelus, most loyal of cavaliers. The pirates sprung Fidelus from the dungeon and together they slew the few Cavaliers loyal to the usurper. The userper was shown mercy by our fair lord and sent into exile, never to command another man again. (At this point whole court of settled pirates and Fideles, look away sheepishly, cus they executed that cunt in the tombs later.

crownlanders

crownlander adventurer, clean freak, hunter that takes ages skining cus he does it from afar with unseen servents. no party will deal with his prissyness so stuck in this job, with as little manual labour as possable.

why is he unhappy?

heir to a court, but for now a playboy uni student spending like crazy to impress people. he desperately wants to be seen as a goliath, with their natural respect. Always compares ur stuff unfavourably to his own bling, always one ups, but someone who can sass back is an instant friend in his eyes and if someone finally acts as enamoured with him as he seemingly is with himself, he will be over the moon and shower them with gifts and praise himself to them more and more. and his compliments to them will be 'wow ur actully really funny!' unintentianaly mean and often loop back arounf to compliment himself.

father a strong man and great politition and taction, a voice of reason and practicality to every meeting and social club he joins.

Mother is a fashion designer, brutal boss to work for. apprentices of great skill themselves join her retinue, and work their asses off until they diappoint her with a year and she leaves them. many had joined her in one city, followed her to the another city, then was just abandoed because they bleed on the stitching or broke something expensize. PCs can bring her recent cast off home, and help create a masterpiece to get his job back or help aspirant replacement

Crownlanders fam

he feels a little disappionted that he didnt choose the adventuring life like his older sister and older brother. he was happy to get the land and hes done very well with it. agriculture is booming, they have great artists and a fine heard of horses, and have a gold vain they havnt even tapped yet (secret and backup). But despite his weak lungs, he feels like maybe he has one good adventuer in him... if not for his responsiblites...

Master swordsman, lost her eye to a blossom swordsman (The-Nightmare-Blade) who she was hunting after rumours that she targeted horses. But on meeting her, the first horse-slaying was an accident, the next three were all at ounce, sent to attack her by the nightmare. Gold-Needle, and The-Nightmare-Blade, dualed, explained, spoke of their backstories over the campfire, slept next to eachother overnight, broke feast together, then continued their brutal dual, in which gold needle lost her eye and nightmare blade was knocked down a cliff. That evening, united to eat again, they slept reeeeal close ;3 But after their flirty movements, Nightmare Blade sprung up from a nightmare. The Nightmare and 3 more now, aperated in front of them. Gold Needle fought along side her (we have to finish our dual fairly!) They defeated the four.

Gold Needle and The Nightmare Blade, traveled together for a time, spreading rumors about themselves that they both died on that mountain, in the the great shadow cloud the villages (who reported the horse slaying) saw. roamed around like that movie Wolfs, sjusting to eachothers adventuring style. They two built a shrine on another mountain, lesbian lumberjacks for 5 years, duelling every second day obvs. She wanted to stay there, perfecting her new technique in the vally, until she could summon Nightmares from the blade, hoping to teach other bloosms who break from the sexism, and seek her out as the rogue legand she is. Gold-Needle felt uncomfortable for the old horses, and didnt like the frontier life and missed social interaction and her family (it was cool to have her death 'greatly exaggerated' but only if there's a 'happy reveal' obvs) so the two lovers were separated. One now a near monk, One a 'fun aunt' conspicuously still single.

Horses fear her when they get within 3 meters. they know she killed a nightmare. (2 actually) Gold needle is relevant to: blosom players seeking the Nightmare Blade-style, sword collectors and hero fans, who know of the dual to the 'death', anyone with a nighmare curse,

crownlander characters

third son, who knows hes going to leave as an adventurer, needs a talk about how it could go well and he neednt be scared. danger, friends, meaning, philosophy, he needs to be talked through it all. he dosnt actualy want to go on adventure. There another court across the vally, where a girl wants a husband who matches his description. and they could set him up with her. (house huband/ artist, poet)

Condescending butler

a surprisingly competent crownlander! ready to get into the gritty parts of adventuring.

Above is the second born, of the lord, by a Blossom adventurer, who was like a mercenary wife for a year. 'produced the heir' recovered and left.

Below is her sister, the first born, by a fire elf (quick romance in no mans land, weird pairing since lord is a monarchy figure, but they loved fast and hard) but her lack of resemblance, relation to a bandit-anarchist, and rumours of infidelity among her mother, and lack of noble/ 'poor' genes. She was disinherited.

crestfallen crownlander who sees that adventuring sucks. illusion broken. he immediatly stands, strides to the party, suddenly looks distraught, falls to his knee and begs the party to do what he could not. there is a classic rescue senario. and he wants that person rescued before he can give up and fall or leave or whatever happens to him. hardl matters. what use is he at this point.

remember the Cairn Dragon plotline, the plays that the court will hire and the 'disgruntled actor dplgr', and the sale of a rare horse (young boy had raised this horse and asks u to make sure a nice owner bid wins). and the general money problems that encourages the third sons to leave.
