Honorary Crow

Back in 2024 there was a Crowtime episode celebrating a milestone in which @secondlina thanked the readers with drawings of prize ribbons. As soon as I saw them I thought oh I can make that, having made some in the last couple years for other projects.

I'm a Namesake fan first, Crowtime second.

I have a kick of making crafts out of items on hand, so all of this was just stuff I had hanging around or was in the recycling bin.

Below are some progress images and another of the final. The colors are not exact because I only used what I had on hand.

I also threw it together in a matter of hours which was incredibly enjoyable to do! Rather than fussing over small details, I just went for it. Below is the original comic.

Edwin and Dumas from Crowmance by @secondlina! I adore these two and the earnest awkward way they navigate each other’s love languages. Watching them fall more and more in love with each update brings me so much joy. Coming for Edwin because I too am an androgynous gremlin book lover who would like a beautiful elf spouse and a giant library please and thank you.

Some very disappointing news to hear from people affected by the widespread and gross mismanagement of the Hiveworks webcomic collective at the hands of Xellette "Xel" Velamist and Crowtime creator Isa Melançon.
