“How is my favorite Londoner?” Cristiano’s cheerful voice said when Mesut answered the phone.
“Hey”, Mesut smiled right away.
“Good luck to the derby”, Cristiano said. “Make all the haters regret they ever said bad word about you.”
Mesut smiled to Cristiano’s words. He was able to make it all little better. He was able to make Mesut with only his voice. Before every game Cristiano always texted him wishing him good luck and when it was an important game he called just like he did right now.
“Thank you”, Mesut smiled. “Good luck to your game too.”
“You need more luck than me”, Cristiano said. “I’ll be cheering for you. Go kick those Tottenham asses to place they belong.”
“I didn’t know you hate Tottenham so much”, Mesut smiled.
“Well don’t Arsenal fans usually hate them?” Cristiano’s laugh made Mesut’s heart skip a beat. “What do we think of shit? Tottenham. That’ how it goes right?”
“Yeah”, Mesut smiled. “You’re right.”
“Of course I am”, Cristiano said. “Good luck Mes. I miss you every day.”
