🌼 M2 W6 - Sat - Take a picture of a title for some of your notes. 🌼
I’ve been studying maths for the CRPE for a couple weeks, but getting into the french grammar bit had been a bot of a struggle. Glad a got started with it!
💐 M1 W2 - Sat - Take a picture of a meal you’ve cooked or something you’ve baked. 💐
I’m extremely pround of the cookies I made last night, considering I DO NOT HAVE AN OVEN! All my baking these past 5 years has been by microwave... which is good, but I wanted something crunchy! So tada! Made them in the fish tray! It took forever though, and they had to be tiny or they wouldn’t bake, so, 6 batches! I’m really happy with the result but not sure I want to go through the hassle again. 🍪
I was thinking about the differences in the intimacy scenes with Thomas/Lucille vs Thomas/Edith but idk if it’s anything
Edith: eyes open*, active, affectionate with Edith, lets her take off his clothes and roll him over, hand holding, actually excited (smiling etc)*, she’s on top and he doesn’t seem to mind.
Lucille: eyes closed*, passive partner, bare minimum* (kissing Lucille’s shoulder but her hand is down his pants), mostly clothed (as is Lucille), they’re both sitting up. Lots of sexuality but not sensuality.
* Foreshadowing from when Edith and Thomas dance and he says he closes his eyes whenever he’s uncomfortable, nothingburger and not revolutionary to notice.
* Obviously. This is the only consensual sexual experience he’s had with someone he loves vs codependency.
Just as a side note, I think Edith had more experience without going all the way.
Don’t know if this is anything, but he’s holding onto the headboard with Edith re: her riding him.
I also think it’s very interesting that Edith was clothed but Thomas wasn’t. GDT ran with the idea after Hiddleston suggested Thomas be naked, but I think there might be something to it narratively. Don’t know what, but there’s something definitely there.
