Hey I'm making a new post because i forgot about the whole links dont show up in tags.
We are being evicted on monday, we need ~2000 to pay for the studio apartment my mom found. My brothers and I will have to go live with my abusive father until we get more stable.
I am disabled working as much as i can, im physically sick right now because of the stress and overworking. My mom is disabled and unemployed due to pain and just in general inability to work. My brother is pulling 40+ hours a week which he shouldn't be.
We are doing all we can but we need help.
Link will be reblogged to donate!
Urgent! Help needed in New York City!
Jace, one of my closest friends, is being evicted tomorrow and needs a place to crash in NYC or the greater New York area. Faer name is Jace, and fae is 23 years old. If fae can't find a place to crash, fae will be living in faer car. Fae needs a couch to sleep on or something, even if it's only for a night or two.
Fae is a struggling addict, two weeks clean. I have known fae for a long time and staying clean if important to faer. Jace's sobriety and life would be in grave danger if fae has to live in faer car due to fibromyalgia and PTSD.
If you would like to make a donation to Jace, please message me and I'll give you faer information. Fae doesn't just need money, fae needs a place to sleep, even if only for a night or two.
Please, please help my friend. I trust fae with my life, and fae is my closest connection to @crpl-pnk Tyler, who fae lived with for 6 months in 2017. I love faer and this is all I can do to help right now. Please help Jace make it through this summer.
Question for disabled people
How old were you when you learned how to tune out the negative comments from able bods
@yungtarkatan @increasinglyhopeful
fly high, tyler. cripple punk lives on in all of us.
i think that now is such an important time to tell your disabled friends you love them and you support them and you’re happy they’re still here bc we’re all hurting so bad, and it sucks so much. we all lost a leader and a lot of us lost a friend.
but i don’t want this to be the thing that divides us. it’d be so easy just to let this drive us apart, to separate us like we were before the cpunk movement started. i can’t go back to that existence and i know you all can’t either. i want this to be the thing that brings us even closer together. we can’t let this all have been for nothing
Rest in Peace Tyler
The creator of @crpl-pnk and the movement cripple punk passed on November 8th. I did not know them, but I knew the movement. It has helped me come to terms with my own disability, and take it in stride. It’s helped me be ok with myself and what I can and cannot do, to be ok with being a sub-par cripple, and finding a wonderful community of people like me. I don’t know anything of their personal situation, but I wish them peace, wherever they are. They’ve brought me peace.
Rest in cripple glory, Tyler. You’ve done well.
in a Big Cripple Punk Mood!!! catch me just lying in bed, hot as hell(bc my body can’t regulate temperature!), in loads of pain, still loving myself and my disabled body! what a shocker
