ok ur blog is one of my faves so i thought id come to you for advice if that's ok? so there's this girl i really like, even thinking about her makes me extremely nervous because i've never really had a crush on a girl before until now. she's one of my sister's close friends and i haven't exactly came out yet. i don't know what to do D:

ok i know exactly how you feel so here’s what I would do. nothing. Hold it all inside until it becomes toxic and eats myself alive from the inside out.

but here’s what you SHOULD do. try and be at least a little friends with the crush and then tell her you’d like to talk to her about something and get her alone. make her promise not to tell anyone what you’re about to tell her and then come out to her. tell her you’re thinking about coming out to your sister and you wanted to know what she thought about it and how she thought your sister will react. don’t say anything about how you feel about her specifically, you can do that later if it comes to it. 

this should give you a way to gauge whether or not she is into girls. if you come out to her first and she’s interested in girls, she might reciprocate. if she is into girls then you’ve created an instant bond between the two of you and you can build on that. if she isn’t at least you know and you can work on moving on. 

at this point you don’t have to come out to your sister. there is a slight danger that the crush might tell your sister, but hopefully she would respect that it’s something you would want to tell her yourself.
