          Trust is a fickle thing. It can be earned and just as easily taken away. The only person on the planet who Scott has trusted completely is Stiles -- that’s a trust that CAN NOT be broken.

          And yet, even with that trust, he finds himself not believing the way that Stiles insists there’s another story to Theo Raeken. Why would he even question it? There’s a smile on a wolf’s face as they embrace. Maybe there’s a thought -- how did he know where they were -- that should pass through Scott’s mind, but he’s too distracted by the joy that overcomes him. Theo saved the day. Maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe someone else needed to save the day for ONCE.
