Today October 4th is World Animal Day. In Finland it starts a whole theme week dedicated for animal rights and welfare. This year's theme is cat rights 👌🏼🐈 Today we take part in online demonstration. Our sign says "No for cats running free outdoors - Yes for safe adventures with harness and leash". It was too much autumn for us today to take the pic outdoors. We're lucky. We can spend rainy days laying on the heated toilet floor or under plankets. That's not the case for all cats. Today is International Cat Day 🎉 Here you have two lucky ones 💕 . Mäyrä-Kaarlo's and Mauno's parents we're health checked and the litter was well planned. They got to grow with their mum until they were over four months old. They are microchipped, vaccinated by the vaccination program and they are registered. Kaarlo has an EU passport as he's been traveling abroad. Their ovner knows what they eat, drink and poop. They get checked by wet regularly. They only go out in harness and leash with their human. They get everything we think they might need and we do anything for them. . Not all cats are born under lucky stars. And that's why there is International Cat Day. To raise awareness of cats and their needs. Over 20 000 cats gets abandoned every year, only in Finland.
