1. How many words have you written this year?

16,032 (I didn't count the fics I published this year but technically wrote in 2024).

2. How many works did you publish?

Seven.

3. What work are you most proud of?

Might be because I just finished it so it's fresh in my mind but No Salvation. I'm proud of myself for pushing past my initial nervousness about being the first person to write for a fandom. That double whammy of the first time writing these characters AND the first work for a show like, really diving in head first lol. I'm also proud of myself for researching and filling in any knowledge gaps I had about Thai spirituality because I really wanted to stay true to the characters and their lived experiences.

4. What work has the most hits?

Meet Me At The Bottom.

5. What work got more feedback than expected?

Sai Sin! I love Clairebell so much but GL fandom isn't as big as BL so I never expect to get many hits or comments but the feedback has been really exciting <3.

6. Favorite title you used?

Also Sai Sin.

7. If you use song lyrics, what artist did you pull from most?

I never really stick to a singular artist, I prefer finding songs that fit a mood I'm going for rather than a specific artist.

8. Pairing you wrote the most for this year?

ClaireBell (though two fics isn't that many lol). My goal was to write something for every new show I watched and I didn't get to all of them but I branched out far more than I did last year.

9. Favorite pairing you wrote for this year?

Oooh that's a tough one. If I really had to choose, I'd say Ai and Mae were very fun to write. Can't beat a good freak4freak lol.

10. What work was the quickest to write?

Reaching. The opening scene popped into my head so vividly and once I started writing, I didn't stop until I was done. It was one of those perfect moments of synchronicity where I was able to transfer what I was seeing in my head into words without any hangups.

11. What work took the longest to write?

Running In The Shadows. Technically I wrote it in 2024 but I continued editing and revamping until I was happy with it which took several months.

12. How many wips do you have in your docs for next year?

....You guys have WIPs for next year? loooool. I mean, I guess technically I've got another ClaireBell fic that's half-baked right now that I might keep tweaking after I watch the finale today. Otherwise, that's it! I try not to keep a ton of WIPs now because I always end up holding onto them too long and nitpicking them until I hate them.

13. What's your longest work of the year?

Meet Me At The Bottom.

14. What's your shortest work of the year?

Reaching.

15. What work are you taking into next year with you?

That one ClaireBell fic I mentioned earlier.

Claire! <3

18. The character that gave you the most trouble this year?

Yoo Jaeyi was pretty difficult to get down at first. She's such a complex character who wears so much armor that it's hard to know who she really is.

Shane and Ilya!

Probably Sai Sin.

Not exactly but technically most of my works are aided along thanks to the group chat <3! I wouldn't have written as much as I did this year without the Discord.

No but all my fics are gifts to the 3-7 people who cheer me on lol.

25. Did you receive any gifts this year?

No but, again, everything my friends write are gifts to me <3.

26. What's your most common category?

f/f (gl/yuri nation, rise up!)

27. What did you listen to while writing?

Way too much music to list. My music taste is vast and eclectic lol.

28. Favorite work you wrote this year?

Probably a tie between Sai Sin and No Salvation.

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

And now…now who was she? Claire felt jagged and fragmented, like so many scattered pieces of glass. Without Pa, what good would her heart do her here? Softness couldn’t exist in prison. It got ground out of people, trampled into dust until all that remained was a hollow shell with an iron exterior. All around her were walking cells, unaware of how deeply they were caged.

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?

I'm very surprised that I've written far less than last year but I'm extremely happy with what I've done! Writing has been a lot more fluid for me this year. I haven't been second guessing myself, I just let things flow. I really challenged myself to write new characters and I'm proud of the results.
