So, if mist is a shark she’s a scary, territorial great white, cause we all agree she’s definitely dangerous.
If rain is a shark he’s a salmon shark. Just the puppy of the shark world. And mist will fight anyone who dares touch her sweet boy.

Random ghoul hc
Rain has pots, and also has a plethora of electrolyte drinks and tablets and powders and all the things, and he’s grateful for them but most of them are flavoured and sometimes he just gets tired of the vaguely minerally flavoured waters and chooses chaos.
Most of the time it’s just a handful of salt, which always gets a few weird looks from the pack. Today he chose extra chaos, and went with a straight shot of soy sauce from the cupboard. Mount and aether saw, and both gagged a little at the sight.
Swiss and phantom on the couch, half watching some cheesy b grade horror movie.
“Hey bug, If you woke up tomorrow as the opposite gender, what would you do?”
Phantoms brow wrinkles as he thinks very seriously for a moment.
“Well I’m non binary so that would make me..”
his eyes widen and he suddenly blurts out
“Invisible!”
“I don’t think that’s how it works bug” Swiss starts to question before phantom places a finger against his lips, squishing them into a pucker
“In-vis-I-ble” phantom whispers slowly.
Every ghoul has a thing they learn about the world topside, something that humans have done that they find equal parts fascinating and devastating. Sometimes it’s something from a war, or something about a natural disaster.
Sometimes it’s about an animal, particularly for the earth ghouls who feel extra connected, and this is true in mountains case.
When he learned about how humans domesticated pigeons, bred out a lot of their survival instincts, only to then abandon them and leave them to fend for themselves.
The rest of the pack couldn’t even mention anything bird related for months, he’d just burst into tears thinking about the poor pigeons.
Yes, he does have a local flock of pigeons that he feeds and takes care of and he can often be found talking to the pigeons apologising to them for what humans did.
You will never convince me that the ghouls took forever to not startle when they see their unglamored forms in a mirror. Think when bears see themselves in the mirror and just start attacking the mirror.
Mountain still gets startled and will ram into the mirror. He’s broken too many to count.
Dews transition wasn’t easy for anyone, each of his pack mourning the loss of their beloved water ghoul, while welcoming the fire ghoul that they all knew despite it feeling like it, wasn’t a stranger.
Mountain is always the kind to make a trinket to mark such an occasion, and he sssumed dew, even with such a change would still be enough himself to appreciate a fine crafted piece of jewellery.
Calling on his knowledge of gemstones and geology to figure out what held the most significance, what precious stones would encapsulate something so monumentally important, showing the fire ghoul that he was still his beloved, no matter what.
He settled on peridot, a shimmering yellow green stone that is forged within the inferno of magma, the first mineral to emerge as it cools and becomes something new and beautiful. Much like his precious firelily.
Setting it into a pendant hanging on a simple silver chain, but something dew will never take off from the moment mount carefully places it around his neck.
Dew: “You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands”
Dew: “for example, if they’re around your throat, she’s probably horny”
Mountain: “I think the saying is she’s angry, not horny”
Dew: “i said what I said”
Cirrus and Cumulus: “amen!”
Thinking about earth ghouls basically being green witches. Particularly mountain and earth. Well versed in floral meanings, and knows all about the various spirits that reside within water and trees and birds.
It’s not uncommon to find them crouched by the river that’s connected to the lake, eyes closed and whispering as they tie some grass around a bunch of flowers before letting the water take it into its embrace.
Mount is less likely to do anything baneful, mostly just giving offerings so those he loved are protected. Earth on the other hand absolutely has and will let the graveyard trees know all about anyone that harms those he loves.
