For the last week or so I’ve been trying to recreate a song I made in Mario Paint Composer when I was in 8th(?) grade that used AWPWR’s MP NES Composer Soundfont. At first I thought I would use Genesis/Mega Drive sounds, then I made a midi, then I got really stumped and stopped. :/ Then it occurred to me that the NES Soundfont was a .sf2 like any other soundfont and I decided to import it into Madtracker and just make a copy of the original so that I could have it forever. Mario Paint doesn’t make files...It’s really...weird....
I also fixed some little things with the actual song. To be honest I’m surprised I didn’t have to fix that much; I think I had like a musical renaissance with Mario Paint at the end of middle school. What was up with that me.
