What is Elythra?
Elythra is a little project of mine centered around a crystal-covered planet where living, sentient shards called Aethrys bond with humans, granting them elemental or conceptual powers. These bonds are lifelong, often dangerous, and deeply transformative - physically, mentally, and spiritually.
This blog exists to explore that world: the mechanics of shard bonding, the different types of shards, the zones they grow in, and the people who’ve shaped their lives around them.
