My fellow americans, Trickster premiers on the CW tonight, which means it’ll be on CWTV in the morning, and you should all go watch it when you have the time, it’s got:
witches
an all native main cast
sick native folklore
beautiful scenery (it’s set in BC,Canada, and there’s the most incredible mountain view in the background)
Killer costume design (when I say I would die for Sarah’s wardrobe I mean it)
Some really incredible acting, I mean Joel Oulette is pretty new to the industry, and he blew me away in the finale
Questions and requests I’ve got for season 2 of Trickster:
Throwing them under the cut to avoid spoilers
What is Sarah? Is she a witch, or something else entirely?
When are we gonna see Jared go full raven?
And what about his other powers? Wade could do some weird voice tricks, and obviously he could shapeshift into other people, not just a raven, so what else can he do?
Does Phil know? He seemed a little too chill in that scene towards the end to know the full story, but then what the hell did Maggie tell him? He had an arrow in his chest, and he bounced back real fucking quick.
I know Jared goes to Vancouver in the second book, but he’s staying with a family member. I feel like Mave would have been mentioned if that was the case, but also, I doubt he would move in with a family member if he didn’t want his mom to find him
I want more Crashpad, and of course more Sarah, but idk how that’s going to work with Jared leaving Kitimat, and Sarah being who knows where. Maybe she’s gonna wind up at a foster home in Vancouver, or whatever city Jared winds up in.
I’m curious to see what happens with Wade. Like, Jared still has the ashes, so there’s a chance of him coming back, and I love Kalani Queypo, so that is really exciting, but is he gonna be an enemy or an ally? It feels like the Ancients will be the big bad, but maybe they’ll go awol, and just wait for Jared to complete the cycle.
Imagine the season 2 opening with Jared doing the Miles Morales thing, where he stands at the edge of a roof top, like he’s about to transform and take off, but then he just says “Nope. Fuck this.” And steps back
