Is it just me who gets annoyed when fans immediately assume that Roger Taylor and Debbie Harry dated just because of one kiss? And btw the kiss looked like a joke and I don’t think Debbie was enjoying it to be honest. She was also in a relationship with Chris Stein at the time. I’m not sure if Roger was dating Dominique in February 1977 though so he may have been single. In addition, if they did date it would have been known to the public (probably) because they’re both in big bands. Plus Crystal said on Facebook that they didn’t hook up so 🤷‍♀️ and I believe him

This is probably such a non issue but I’m annoyed and don’t care. Roger is releasing a solo album in September titled “Violence Insane in A Beautiful World,” and I’m guessing the themes are going to be based around the current state of the world. If you are a Roger Taylor fan, you would know that he has been making songs about the current state of the world at each moment in his life, so this is hardly new. However, the commenters on this Instagram post are going absolutely insane and I think they are being pretty rude and tone deaf. I’m not going to deny that Roger has a lot of money and it puts him at an advantage over the majority of the population. Although I have to say that just because someone has an advantage, that doesn’t mean they can’t voice their opinions on world issues. Unless they are a hypocrite, which I don’t believe Roger is. There is also the question of the songs coming from his own experiences too. An example of that would be Surrender. As I have said previously, the comments were rude and tone deaf with one commenter even saying “Fuk off to ur private island 🏝️ ” I realise most of these people are probably miserable and I shouldn’t be reacting so strongly to them but I had to say something to get it off my chest.

I’d also like to add a bit about the comment that I put in from one of the commenters “Fuk off to your private island 🏝️” I think most people here will understand the implication of that comment and how absolutely disgusting and horrible it is. The commenter left a few worse comments as well which I won’t write in here but hopefully you get the picture. I just don’t understand why someone would turn a man like Roger Taylor into something so hateful and disgusting? It’s just awful and I am appalled.

Outsider Liner Notes?

Does anyone know if Roger Taylor’s album outsider has liner notes? I’ve researched but I can’t find anything which I feel is quite odd because his other albums have liner notes.

I’ve just found out that Roger dated a 21 year old named Catrina Davies in 2002. I honestly don’t know how to feel about it :/

Did you know?

On Roger’s request The Game tour had a pause between 14th July and 5th August so Roger could be at Felix’s birth. Except, Felix was born 10 weeks early, before the tour had even started and the whole pause was useless. Quite a rebellious kid :P.

Does anyone know what happened to meanwhileinthe70s?

I haven’t been in the fandom long enough to have seen their account or posts but I’ve seen posts and usually rare posts credited to them. I know they go, or at least went by, letus_clingtogether or something like that on instagram. Their account is deactivated on there too. Apologies if the username is wrong. If anyone knows what has happened to their accounts I’d like to know because I would have loved to follow them :)
