【♛】༄ The young Frenchman was always delighted to see his boyfriend, and today was no exception. They’d been planning a date for quite some time, with Maxime having been away to oversee the importation of the Lavergne wine in Asia. It was a long and egregious process, language barriers making the whole situation a lot more complicated than it needed to be. He ended up staying their a whole extra week due to the shipment being delivered to the wrong part of Asia and then having to be corrected. He even had to account for loss and damages. Overall, the whole affair was a headache to say the least. However, it was over and he was back to see his loving boyfriend, who he had recently moved into his mansion to keep Jean-Louis and himself company. He was ecstatic just to be back home and see the two most important things in his life there to greet him. He had one of his servants take his bags to be sorted and either cleaned or put away.
As soon as he was in the door way he practically threw himself into the taller male’s arms, beaming brightly. “C'est si bon de te voir, mon amour!” He exclaimed, hugging the other tightly and burying his face into his chest. Jean-Louis wounded himself between the two’s legs, purring audibly at the return of his favorite human, Theo being his second. “How was it? I know it can be quite ah... What’s the word? You know, in such a big place like this by yourself it must have gotten lonely. Although, I’m certain you had plenty of company with mon petit Jean-Louis~” The strawberry blonde knelt down to stroke the cream-colored cat who let out a sweet meow at the affection. “Were you good for Theo? I’m certain you were. You must be the model for his next project, no?~” He stood up, stepping back and dusting himself off.
He must have forgotten his manners in the excitement, causing his pale cheeks to get a rosy dusting across them. “If you would still like, we could perhaps go to our dinner reservations tonight if you feel up to it. I know I was late coming back, but my flight got delayed and it was quite a nuisance to say the least.” He had arrived hours later than he had expected, but luckily had managed to get their reservation pushed back, probably by throwing in the Lavergne name and possibly threatening to no longer allow the sales of their brand at that particular restaurant. Of course he couldn’t even really hold sway over that, but the less they knew, the better.
