Anyways! Did a lil' spread with them last night (not a full interview, I got home late:p)

QUESTION: Why have you been brought into my life, or what am I learning from you?
•IX CONTEMPLATION, XI STRENGTH, ACE OF CUPS•
Chang O is a Chinese moon goddess. She was exiled to the moon because of her need to obtain divinity, which seems more like a mercy than a punishment to me, but what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ her companion is a white rabbit.
The essence of this card is about journeying inward to gain knowledge, owning one's divinity, and taking time alone to contemplate life. I spend a lot of time taking in information. Whether it be books, notes, texts, conversations or random sources I have no business rationalizing like fictional shows and the spiritual meaning of burnt toast. In doing this, I often forget that there is much to learn from the internal source, I often forget that I am a mechanism of the universe, and I often forget that I need to have time alone to function. This is a call to prioritize and be mindful of these things.
Oya is the Yoruba Goddess of the Niger river. She is associated with female leadership, strength, and the language of power. She weaves her energies into the wind that bends the grass, and the deer that graze upon it.
The essence of this card is the strength to create peace between opposing forces. These forces may be inside you, or personified in a situation. Great focus and dedication is needed to tame them. You have both of these things within you. Battling depression and anxiety and having a life jam packed with people you love and things to do is very difficult and often gets the best of me. Despite this I am fully aware of my drive to overcome my illnesses and enjoy the life I've been given. Given current circumstances though, I have little motivation. This is a call to endure, and find the power within the loss. Channel your energy into the things that are most important to you. All else is temporary.
Lastly, Ace of Cups. In this deck the suit of cups is associated with the path of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Cups are representative of the abundant and receptive aspects of the Divine Feminine. Cups offered by Venus are an invitation to drink deeply of the magical water of inspiration and pleasure.
Here, the moon is contained, but not captured within a golden chalice, overflowing into the sea that is the source of all. This cards essence is about receptivity to creative inspiration, emotional satisfaction, and new and important relationships. This, I think is my biscuit after a vet visit. After a lot of hard work, many of my efforts are being manifested positively in my life, I have the opportunity now to complete a personal energetic shift for the better, which does not come around often. I've made lots of new friends, and learned many new things under the light of the Moon.
