I get half the SU fandom has just full on declared Rose a bad guy at this point but also wasn’t Rose like the first character to ever come to that conclusion? Pink Diamond just wanted to have fun then she only wanted to be a colonizer then she wants to escape her life as a diamond and be with her friends on Earth forever. At no point was Rose ever like hell yeah i’m going to be a hero. That was never what she was about. That’s what the crystal gems made her out to be. Rose never thought she was good she thought Greg was good that humans were good that earth was good. But we’re disappointed in her actions time after time because we- like Steven- were lead to believe she was the most selfless amazing heroic brave gem to ever live and never did anything wrong by the people who loved - worshiped - her and it simply wasn’t the case. Rose knew she was bad first and she couldn’t convince anyone else of it.
