I'm rewatching some S3 ouat, and wow, I forgot how much tension was between Emma and Hook. I already know they'll get together, get married, and have a daughter, but I'm halfway through S3 and I'm just inwardly yelling at them to just kiss already. 😂

I love it!  Do you remember how excruciating it was when we were going through season 3 live?  Oh man, 3B was INTERMINABLE.  I was dying for Emma to find out he gave up his ship for her (and for us to have it confirmed) and for Emma to finally thank him for what he did for her. She was so angry and guarded, but at the same time totally allowing her walls to come down one metaphorical brick at a time. 

The tension in 3x14 and the “If it can be broken, it means it still works” scene was off the charts. I mean... those two almost went up in flames standing across from each other!  

Killian was just there half-declaring his love for her with everything he said and every look he gave her all season long.

However, when Emma finally turns a corner and doesn’t want to live in the past anymore, Hook steps back because of the Zelena curse.  Dang.

Then to have it culminate in the greatest two episodes of OUAT in history... the CAPTAIN SWAN MOVIE?  I die. You die. We all die for CS.

WOW I feel f*cking awful for The 100 fans/Bellarke shippers right now. I mean ooooohhh my god. I take Adam and Eddy to task sometimes, but this sort of thing makes me feel lucky to have had them do the kind of thing they did with ouat.

Oh my, I just went and looked in the tags... that suuuuucks. So sorry to any of my followers who are fans of that show/ship. Gut punch.

We are so lucky in Captain Swan fandom. Yes, just hours after the wedding we got leveled with the devastating blow that JMo was leaving and then suffered through a summer hiatus with bitter Eddie and #nospoilers Adam teasing and refusing to confirm that Hook wouldn’t have a new love interest right after marrying his true love soul mate, (and I personally had to contend with like a 100 anons a day for weeks) but it all worked out in the end and Adam and Eddy ended up being safe stewards of our OTP.

It’s always good to recognize and be thankful for what we got and remember some of our shipmates who were so upset that they didn’t get it to their specifications (the wedding dress sucked, Emma’s season 6 journey was redundant, it was a true love’s tackle rather than a TLK etc) that they couldn’t enjoy and appreciate the amazing bounty that is Captain Swan. Take this as a reminder that it’s okay to be a glass half full type of person occasionally and to appreciate the good when you get it,because when the glass is really half empty, you’ll know it.

I'm very shocked Leanne didn't include Captain Swan in her 20 couples of the decade list. Very shocked. It's a meaningless list, I know, but it's so unlike her lmao.

I haven’t seen the list, but it does seem unlike her. Maybe she hit her head, got selective amnesia and forgot the gold standard of ships? Or perhaps she has a short attention span, out of sight, out of mind? Or since ET is just fishing for clicks, perhaps the heyday of OUAT is enough in the review mirror that they didn’t think enough of us are still around to give them the revenue-generating clicks they need? Or maybe she wanted to avoid her mentions being flooded with hate from the antis?  

It’s fun to get mentioned on lists like that, but as you say it means nothing. We know which couple of the last decade combined the best actors with electrifying chemistry in the most epic, timeless, to the end of the world and back, love story. There is only one...

I'm literally crying of happiness right now. I wasn't sure we'd ever get them at a con together again.

I knew it was only a matter of time, and that time has come!!!
