Me and my small “hand” luggage :))) I think I made my record of the luggage I am traveling with!! 300 pounds :) First part of my CUBA TRIP - check! Made it from Venice canals with my Dear friend Rita to Downtown LA, from Downtown LA took a 4 hour bus 🚎 trip to San Isydro (after San Diego on the border with Mexico 🇲🇽). From San Isydro stop - took a CBX shuttle to Border pass express San Diego - Tijuana. Now cross the bridge and check in all this heavy weight! So far so good! Historical day in Cuba! Congratulations on our new president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez! :) We would like to say “happy retirement” to Raül Castro, but he’s not retiring just yet, as he still remains a chief of a communist party and a head of the army. Anyways, thanks to Raül Castro for many positive & progressive changes that he made during his presidency and we hope that the new president Miguel Diaz will continue heading forward so we can live our happy & even happier island lives here! So Dear Mr.President - here’s a little wish list of the things that we would like to see on your agenda from your 2 fans @dianamrazi & @thaira.music - 1. Eggs 🥚 - everywhere & all the time - seriously we’re tired of the difficulties to encounter them. We would love to spend that energy on work & being creative instead of running around the town. The same applies for milk, white paint, and just about anything. Can the shelves in the stores be just full, so we do not have to look for basic things on the black market? 2. Possibility of having the Internet connection at home 24/7 for those who wish & without ruining our budget - We are really thankful to Raül Castro that he made internet accesible around the island and prices dropped from $10/hour in 2014 to $1/hour in 2018. That’s a big progress, but still, just an 8 hour per day internet connection costs us $240/ month which is really A LOT - girls need to eat & shop for shoes 👠 as well!!!! 3. Support amazing “awareness raising” work of one of your parliament members - Mariela Castro Espín as a head of @cenesex_habana and follow many progressive countries around the world that have already changed their legislation and grant their citizens equality and basic human rights.
