so this happened to me earlier while I was playing the demo of Tomodachi Life, Iris is the third resident on the island I have, and also the one who tripped and I had Cube to help him up, then this happened

I do support the ship though :)

I know Iris looks a little weird, I tried to go based on what he actually looks like in the series (or at least as close as I can get him to be)

why do i ship them?

i lowkey don't remember. it was probably from some art i saw of them. i actually used to HATE this ship years ago but now it's a quiet favorite of mine. i just grew to like the dynamic i suppose.

what's my favorite thing about the ship?

i really like the kinda "tough love" dynamic (on Iris' side of course) that they could be interpreted with. they fall right in that delicious middle of toxic and wholesome yaoi.

also it makes a very specific type of person really fucking angry when people ship them and that's always fun LMAO

unpopular opinion?

due to the piss poor media literacy the majority of this fandom has, a lot of people interpret the way that iris interacts with cube VERY badly (hence the last statement). so honestly,i know this is a bit of a cop out answer, but just shipping it could probably count. if not the trope i interpret the ship to have.
