It blew my gourd when I first heard about people not knowing pickles were treated cucumbers because in Hebrew the "word" for pickle is a phrase meaning sour cucumber. So like yeah of course

The largest one pictured is a Mong cucumber it can actually last all winter and after scraping out the seeds is as crispy and tasty as a fresh cucumber from ur garden! The middle cucumber is a Thai cucumber and although mildly bitter is a sought after delicacy. The last and tiniest is a pickling cucumber nothing special about it 😂 except it’s for pickling 😆.
