Jenn and I got to have lunch today which was really nice. We work for the same health system but different locations. She had a few consultations to do at the hospital I work at so we were able to coordinate lunch. She was at her office this morning and I ordered us Wendy’s as we both were craving fries and the saucy nuggets so she picked it up on her way over.

We were sitting outside at the picnic tables nearby and she leaned her head on my shoulder for a bit. We held hands for a while and just talked about random stuff. It was really sweet as our schedules have been so conflicting over the past few weeks. I’ve been craving her presence a lot so it was really cute and definitely comforting. This week my friend Caroline stayed with us- she got to spend most of the day with Jenn as I usually work from 7:30- 4:30 or so. I’ll admit I was bit jealous as Jenn’s one day off I ended up working like an hour later too 😅 Definitely in a cuddly mood too which I’m a bit shocked as my CPTSD symptoms have been intense lately but idk I’m craving cuddles a lot more lately.

It’s like if someone asks me “Are you a “Don’t fucking touch me or I’ll rip your spine out through your throat” traumatized or a “please please touch me I need physical validation to live” traumatized?” My answer - Yes. And more often it’s the don’t touch me but Jenn and I have definitely been breaking that barrier which is really awesome.

Anyway, we had lunch and it was nice to just be together for a little bit. She walked me back to the lab and I gave her a quick kiss before she went to the locker room to get ready for her next case. She’s still at the hospital, I waited awhile after I clocked out but she text me that she had another case that she was requested to scrub in for so she said she’ll see me at home. I’m gonna try to stay up till she gets home. Ace(the pup) and I are studying a few paramedic lectures to pass the time. I start classes next week, paramedic and grad school so I’m anxious but also excited. In for a fun time I’m sure! 😂
