Today was a hard day as a pet parent. Lily (my manifested dog refer to my podcast link in the comments) hurt her 5th toenail badly. Dropping her off was so hard, I cried. I knew she was in good hands at @animalsamaritans urgent care in Indio. Dr. G and ALL the staff were exceptional. Lily is home and on the mend ❤️‍🩹. We are waiting to get tests back, bloodwork looks good. Next tests are to see if there is anything else causing her repeated breakage and discomfort. We are hoping she heals otherwise she may need to have her toe amputated. We should know more on Saturday.
