DP Headcannon: Constantly sleepy human Danny! :D

I think it’s safe to assume that Danny runs cold (’cause his core and because his “ghost sense” is still functional when he takes on a human form).

His breath is visible no matter what temp the room is (would be nice if it gilded down instead of up cause cold air is heavier than warm air), so it’s gotta be cold.

So Danny ambient human body temp has to be cold enough so that his ghost sense doesn’t shock his body and when a human gets cold all internal body functions slow down. Heartbeats slows, blood flow slows (not sure what this does to his oxygen LVs if he needs oxygen), retains fat to keep warm, limbs get stiff, general sleepiness, not blushing (so not paleness just the lack of (blush-type) colors on his face, ears, mouth, etc.

Wonder how that affects injuries and bruises.

It would be so adorable if Danny starts sleeping at random places (locked rooms, roofs, trees, outside, the bathroom, under things) because as soon as he gets out his ghost form his body temp knocks him out.

Maybe because of this he has a heating blanket in his bag or heat packs and hot drinks constantly on him.

Dang people are totally going to think he’s narcoleptic

Or that he’s suffering an addiction/withdrawal

Then he’ll go to the doctor D:

Then they’ll take his temp and panic and question and test

To avoid that Danny might have to play up being lazy or not getting enough sleep at night or avoiding being seen whenever he crashes into sleep.

It’s that or build the heat blanket into a jacket he wears whenever he’s around ppl and when he does things as a human.
