lyla, has anyone ever thanked you for how you draw Martin's neck/chin? because it's one of those things that a lot of artists miss when drawing fat people, and one of the things I'm really self-conscious about on myself, but when I see it on Martin.... maybe it's not so bad..... <3 also thank you for the fluff, single-handedly keeping me sane XD

[SCREAMS] REDDING WEDDY AU???

EDIT: I have finally posted this! the fume of sighs i’ve been working on this for SO LONG. EMBARRASSINGLY LONG. but imagine, if you will, a world in which cap tells them it’s a bomb beforehand AND for handwavey reasons, alison acquires the william letter afterwards. (she has not read it at this snippet’s point in time.)

The Captain made a little strangled sound which made Alison look up from her phone. He looked positively awful — if he’d been pale before, he looked downright ill now, and if he were alive she would have directed him to the drain so he wouldn’t be sick all over the pavers where it’d be a pain to clean up.

“It’s — it’s not illegal?” he said at last, his voice wavering just a little.

“No?” Alison said slowly. “Surely you’ve seen Greg and Dave kiss when we’ve had them over. They’re not exactly subtle about it.”

“When you have people over you play horrible music that’s far too loud, so for the most part I stay in my room,” the Captain said. The words were exactly the sort of thing the Captain would say, but the tone was still off. There was something Alison was missing here, but she had no idea what it was.

“I can’t believe no one mentioned it — it’s been legal for ages. Pat might’ve said something, surely.” The knowledge gaps of the ghosts were baffling to her — they rarely seemed to share information among themselves, which surely would be the first thing Alison would do if she were a ghost meeting a ghost who died years later than she did. Perhaps it was part of the whole thing where they didn’t seem to share much of their pasts; the Captain didn’t even tell anyone his name, for God’s sake.

“There would be absolutely no reason for him to do so,” the Captain said firmly. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must be off.”

hey I want you to know that I haven't had long hair for ten years but it's growing out in lockdown and I've been using rubber bands to tie it back, but the fringe keeps falling down, and then I remembered your art of Jonathan Jarchivist using paperclips to pin back his hair and. I've been looking for a crafty thing I can make for Stellar Firma, and your 'golden robot gondoliers' animatic is one of my favourite things based on one of my favourite bits, so -- would you mind if I made a little embroidery based on a still from it? I won't be sellling it or anything, it's just to sit on my shelf and make me happy, but it seemed polite to ask. :)
